For all this hollering about glitches I'm yet to experience any I've had a few online races which ran smoothly and offline is just as enjoyable as the project cars career mode. Regarding bugs I am pretty sure a lot of the you tubers your seeing here are xbone users (correct me if I'm wrong). That's potentially the issue with all these bugs. An inferior machine lol.
I've only had one 'glitch' which was a framerate freeze for about 2 seconds...the game then looked like it fast forwarded to catch up and I was in the gravel...I promise it wasn't my driving haha
I'd say MS/Sony removing the patch fee for current gen has a lot to do with it. In the past devs had to pay a fee for every patch they released, so they made sure their games were as solid as they could be, but now there is no fee so they'll push out a half-assed game and worry about bugs later on. the multiplayer is totally broken for both public and private racing. this is me in a private lobby, and those are meant to be human drivers yet they drove in a line formation like really dumb AI. results screen at the end said I finished 7th btw, so the cars I was passing were racing in a different time and space continuum to mine.
Yeah, it's been confirmed that the other human players are simulated AI in some cases. It basically makes it a time attack with obstacles. It's quite laughable to be honest.
