Sorry to my fellow blues, I had a shocker last night, I haven't been too sharp over the last couple of days with a head ache, back ache and a general lethargic feeling. Maybe it is just old age but I hope I get better soon, I have just been so tired.
My race plan was ruined by the restart as I could only get 9 laps out of the left rear tire so was going for a 4 stopper. In both races I just couldn't keep up and kept making mistakes ending up in the wall. On the last lap I followed Rotor across the line and thought the race was over and I had beaten Serg, but I have never been lapped before and forgot that my race was still on until I completed the distance, my haste to get going again meant I ran into the wall and let Serg through, DOH.
I was to blame for the restart N64, I thought it was unfair with so many dropping out as it was a team thing and decided to quit, I apologise as I thought N64 and zamps would dominate the restart as well, I stuffed up, sorry.

Don't feel bad emmo. We all are going to have bad nights thanks to health or injury. I remember a S10 race (I think it was Grand Valley) where I had a damaged toe nail and under braking it got caught on the clutch pedal and ripped clean off! But I still carried on...
We're still just 10 points behind the lucky cane toads, and miles ahead of the outsiders.

Well to be fair mate, you did set the 2nd fastest lap in qualifying, I think where the fast guys pull away is their ability to pull consistently fast lap times and remained composed. E.g I dominated the first portion of the race, but after the restart I got frustrated and threw it away.

That was the biggest surprise Ive had in a while. To be fair though, mus qualified on mediums, had he been on softs he would have been quicker than me for sure.

That said, I could have gone quicker. I hit the inside of the wall through turn one ( turn two if you cound the sweeper as turn one).

I am declaring from this moment on, absolutely no restarts, unless over half the field is DC'd and less than 50% of the race is completed. To be honest if you, Zamps and Emmo d/c next race, ie less than half the field, we'll still call for a restart because it's a team championship and if NAT issues knock out one team then what's the point. Emmo is usually a stable host, so stick with him and mic's off and I'll bet things are more stable.

Anon got a good start and made a desperate dive up the inside into the sector 2, which, from my screen, was not clean at all. You are in charge of this event so if I am deemed to have infringed the COC and not redressed, then apply a penalty. I'm a big boy, no tears will fall. If you DSQ me, it will even out the points ladder, so it's worth consideration. Remember though, you will be setting a precedent.

I hope you all will join me in 2 weeks time at Eiger Nordwand Short Track. Looking very much forward to it.

Well done Musta and TB, you guys showed 2 things QLD is famous for, great talent and a never say die attitude. I was sadly the erratic, inconsistent fullback who should be dropped for the next match. I have had a loss of FFB in my normal wheel and try as I might it just is rubbish to use. A mate of mine has lent me an old fanatec wheel (speedster I think), wow, it's bad, but better than mine currently. I can't blame the wheel for my performance though, had a big week, a few beers and needed sleep desperately. Will look to try and impress the selectors with a better performance in the next race.

Thanks again for organising this N64, as you're learning running a series is much more difficult than just racing in one. Keep up the good work.

Your red text sorta gave me a fright there!
I certainly wont be disqualifying you, after a second look, I did miss the apex taking my normal line, you saw the gap like Senna, and went for it. It was a little like Suzuka 1990, but I think the lag problems accelerated what was really only light contact. I was annoyed because the bump prevented me from fighting back down the straight. I guess I'm a little like finger boy (begrudgingly), unbeatable out in front, nowhere in the pack.

I would say for the sake of competition, to put rotor under outsiders that way they will have a chance in the teams championship.

Depending on how the rest of the outsiders go in round 2. It does seem a little unfair with one extra racer. The outsiders had a lot of problems that night with lag collisions and the like, they'll be much stronger on the short Swiss circuit.

Yeah but the way I see it they have 2x div2 racers and a div 3 guy and everyone else has atleast 2x div1 drivers.

maybe just take there best 3 scorers for each round?

Looks like there are going to be quite a number of pitstops, tyre management is going to be crucial.
