    Anyone keen for some racing within the next 3 hours? It's looking like my only free time until work again next week. :(

    Thinking umm.... The Merc 190E. Let's test this baby out with some close racing! Default setups. 15 minutes qualifying and 4-6 lap races depending on track.

    Man how I wish SMS would add an option for 2 races per track.

    Alright so just did a race online with the 190E. Default set up, around the full Hockenheim gp circuit.

    Tyre wear was on. I think x2 actually. Anyway it was a 6 or 7 lap race and it's pretty boring.. but it does show how AMAZINGLY the 190E drives with the default setup. I have done absolutely nothing to my T300 and it just feels so good out of the box. And I'm talking about both the FFB AND the general setup (ride, traction, gearing, etc). It's honestly really on point.

    So will get the video up soon and you guys can all basically see what Season 2 will be like. :)

    Really? I've only ever been able to launch cars properly if I switched to first as soon as the lights go green and I step on the accelerator.
    Holding it in 1st and revved always bogged down the car for some reason.

    I had the same problem until I discovered I had the the traction control on, which caused the RUF to bog down horrendously off the line, at one stage I considered tanking qualifying because regardless where I qualified I would be last by the first corner, then I turned off the traction control and all was good.

    When your sitting on the grid turn off auto clutch (I have a button assigned for it) as soon as light's come up hold in clutch and select gear , when on last red light put loud pedal to floor , dump clutch on green light , once you get going turn auto clutch back on so you can pull second gear . I have come from 5th to leading by the first corner with that method . thank you for reading .

    Get a USB keyboard or a good blue tooth key board , then assign away . I have a 5 port USE hub on my PS4 , works great .

    We have 3 people testing to match the chosen car's gear ratio's and handling, seeing as it is a non tuning season. I will start a season 2 discussion thread and you can throw in your suggestions there, and we will test them to see if they are suitable.

    Gears are really short so probably best to choose tracks it doesn't hit the limiter which would mean no big tracks.(spa, Monza)
    Otherwise you could make a standard ratio setup that everyone has to use?
