hey all, i am still in for this season but my GT5-ing is gonna be rusty. just letting you all know now.

I will probably show up in pink again this season and #24 thanks.

This will probably be the last day I am around here for a little while, as we move to the Netherlands on Saturday, and things are pretty busy between now and then.
I will come back and say hello after I get myself sorted out, and will keep an eye on the one-off races.

Sorry if i caused any greif for anyone at the start, i was a bit rusty having last raced in 2011.
Once i got comfortable I had a few good battles with dutch and natman and really enjoyed the race.
I stayed out of the pits a few laps later than everyone else because I was still doing low 11s, so i finished with a little more than half of my tires left.. I felt fairly quick at the end
Bad luck to the guys who run out of fuel, that sucks!
A few blokes deserved to finish higher.

Yea it was actually a pretty good race especially battle mid pack for the 1st 20 laps odd. Shame about the connection issues that delayed the start. Hopefully every thing goes smoother next week when Annon returns.

Yeah so I'm obviously pumped after that, I thought that I would be fighting for the lead because I couldn't tell where nat, Dutch or Overrdrive were, and considering that P2 on the grid was empty, I felt I had to give it absolutely everything, lap after lap. I was a bit annoyed that I didn't need to, but it sure was satisfying to win by such a huge margin, and with (I think) a fastest lap of 1.08.399. I put in 28 L of fuel in on lap 20, and I could've gotten away with around 5 litres less, and Joe cut the gap by 5 seconds. But he didn't put enough fuel in...
So far I am loving this car, so much more fun to drive than the RX7.
So pumped for the next race!

Sucks that i had to sit out. I hate stuffing around trying to get people in the lobby and what not. Thats why i decided to tell Tek to go on without me. Also having not run my car in, i doubt i would have been competitive.
If it keeps happening I'll most likely pull out again. Over GT5's connection bull.

I must apologise for the screwing around Dougz, PD's servers are a joke, and it's completely unfair that you had to sit out, I would have given up my spot for you since you were minding your own business and I barged in to wreck your night.

My downfall was putting a few litres too much in at the pit stop. It allowed tek to get a couple of seconds in front of me in second, and that's how we stayed for the rest of the race. I had a couple of good battles along the way, especially with dutchy. I think we did about 3/4 of a lap side by side. Great fun.

Bad luck to the guys who run out of fuel, and yeah, bad luck for missing out dougz, it does suck.

If we have trouble next week with anon hosting, I am willing to host or open up a room. I have a 100Mbps cable connection that is usually pretty rock solid.

does the amount of fuel actually matter that much? I never knew :S
I think i put about 20 liters in with 16 laps to go
