Season 12: Division 1 (Apex King's)

DFPs have weak force feedback on GT5, its heavy on Iracing and rfactor though so I don't know why its like that, especially considering its an official wheel.

I don't mind heavy force feed back though, but it will give you a work out.

My confidence is not very high for a good result tonight, though I am pretty pumped for a new challenge. I'm aiming to be the top of the "rookies" and hopefully to knock off a scalp or two from the big boys. Finishing ahead of my S11 nemeses (Anon and tek) would be a treat! See you all at 8!

I kept getting lobby error 269, no matter whos room I tried to join. Even when just trying to connect to the open lobby I would get it, after 3 modem resets and PS restarts and a couple cache clears I had to give up. Not sure whats going on, nat still type 2. Has there been a GT5 update since last season? I haven't logged on for awhile, didn't get promted for one.

Anyway I'll try sort during the week so I can make the next race sorry guys, I really tried GT5 just wouldn't play nice :/

A bit of a meh start to my Div 1 career. While the action is tremendously fun, it isn't all that satisfying when it's only for the minor placings. But every point counts!

Anyway, I got a terrific start, and left cyber for dead from 7th on the grid. Unfortunately, I got greedy trying to get past Anon and we tapped each other, myself giving cyber the place. That ended any chance of a podium.
Down into 8th, the race trancended into a rather tedious follow the leader style battle, until lap 5 when things got exciting. Sadly, cyber broke away, and my kindness cost me track position. Sorry fellas, don't expect me to re gift positions in "racing incidents" as easily next week. Nat obviously has experience in karting, as his NSX was very wide indeed!
After the pitstop, anon suddenly lost 50kg from his car! Nat and I engaged in a terrific arm wrestle, which he would eventually win thanks to his later pit stop. Awesome side by side racing at the highest of drawers, in my opinion.
Sadly for Zampli, a very strong race would soon turn into a disaster. An error at the "red" chicane cost him huge amounts of time, and joined our squabble on lap 17, to which a desperate dive nearly turned into the overtake of the season.
A smart move by nat by braking early into T1 allowed him to break away from myself and Zampli. On the same lap, Zampli was too eager on the accelerator at the final corner and half spun.
Maximum points for warrior then, pole and fastest lap.Well done to the podium (rotor, WTF were you doing on that final lap?), way too fast. After the tremendous, 35 second first round win last season, it's a bit irritating to be 40 seconds down this time.
Onto Monaco now, where I predict the race to be much closer, as I don't think that there will be any stupidly fast ways around the track that are "unique" like in Tokyo. I'm confident of a result much stronger than 7th. Here's hoping that everyone can improve in order to avoid a Mustafur/warrior walkover!
And also, my eagerly anticipated State of Origin series finally kicks off this Friday, don't miss it if you're entering!

That must have been quite a race between Musta and Warrior, just a sec..ish apart! Well done to the podium.

And rotor was battling all race, Zamps lost out after the pitstop but before that it was a 4 way battle.

I made a mistake on T1 in the last lap and that allowed Warrior to escape while i was battling with Rotor for the next couple of corners, my tyres where nearly shot by this point as I couldn't stop drifting.

Came out of last corner on last lap to far away from Musta to get a draft. Hit the pit wall instead. Feel as if a win is out of the question untill Suzuka now =|

I had this same problem, even at 1 out of 10 that wheel has such a heavy weight with some of the cars in the GT5, same with F12011 on 10 percent FFB much too strong especially with that dead spot that game has when you turn all the way in, I have a feeling it's not supposed to be like this though.

I had some good battles with Joe, including a fair bit of side-by-side stuff. Great fun, thanks Joe, looking forward to more of it!

Obviously i was disappointed with my performance on sunday but some of those laps Gary were great - cheers.
