Season 2 Teams Championship Bidding Thread (S2 Bidding Complete)

I would like to introduce the bidding thread for the Season 2 Teams Championship.

The rules are as follows:

The highest placed Season 2 division 1 drivers are Team Captains.
They each have $300 budget to bid on drivers for their team.
They can have a maximum of 10 drivers on their team (during the bidding process) but only the highest 6 will score points for their team each round (which caters for absentees)
They must have a minimum of 8 drivers on their team.
Drivers have no say in their team selection.
The minimum bid for a driver is $10 (including incremental increases of at least $10).

To bid on a driver, the captain must post in this thread as follows:
<Team Name> <Captain Name> bid for
<Driver Name>
<$###>
<Date/Time of Post>

If no increased bid is made for the same driver within 24 hours, they are signed for that team.
A Captain's bids cannot monetarily exceed their remaining budget and their maximum number of open bids at any one time cannot exceed 10.
If a submitted bid is not higher than a previous bid, it is ignored.
Bids cannot be withdrawn.
Any drivers without a team after the deadline will be randomly placed into a team and at this stage the team maximum will be removed

We are testing the waters with this system to see if it will work for Season 3.

It will be now just to finish out Season 2 and see how things stack up with this system

All the same. We can see how the points tally out end of Season and I will apply multipliers to see how much things change.

They will all count in the end. Its just for practice this season. You get more of an advantage as to know which drivers are doing well this season as points for 5 rounds have already been accumulated, but this means that bids will be higher for those drivers with more points. Whereas next season, you only have previous seasons stats to go on (and hearsay and conjecture)

No Limit as yet. May implement one in Season 3.

I bid $10 bucks on Warrior Is this like an auction? Can I keep increasing my bids in retaliation to each competitors bid?

Who decides my team name?

OK disregard that, I thought I was a captain then I read that the Div 1 drivers are the captains, sorry, got ahead of myself lol.
