alright guys.....if you have looked in the OP you would have noticed that the tire wear for this season will again be on X2. Basically the car is very easy on its tires, those who punish the crap out of them will be pitting for the COMPULSORY stop at, say, half race, at which time your tires wont be below 'about' 70% anyway, you still have heaps of grip.... The strategy plays will be the following - look after tires and make stop without taking fresh tires and save time in pits, struggle towards end of race - go harder on tires and change at a time that your longer stint still leaves some rubber to fight at the end. The obvious difference this season the the compulsory stop, so it makes the window much smaller for all drivers, hopefully closing the gaps between the cars. Hope that makes sense, we will post up any pit stop information when we get closer to the meet and greet so everyone (in all divs) has a clear understanding of what will work.
Sweet div2 I'm going to renew my ps4 subscription, is anyone online tonight for some testing I need to practice
Don't be sorry, we all know Hat is anal retarted when it comes to grammar! Anyway I think what you have done with making a compulsory pitstop is going to stop all the people (cough, Cagme) stop their whinging and give people like myself who are hard on their tyres a chance to get a win!
Well for the tracks we did tonight that certainly wasn't the case. Was over a second off both you and beau around every track and a crazy 3 seconds off around Spa. I'll be able to get some of that back by dropping the rear downforce a little but won't be able to drop it as far as you did as it becomes undriveable on a controller.
Well here are all the screenshots that I got last night. Surely you can agree that the times I set were far from slow but the times set by Beau and VH were insane! (Well apart from Spa seeing as you somehow set a 2:18.6) Brands Hatch GP: Note: I did set a new PB of a 1:21.9xx in qualifying SPA: Note: I have done less than 20 laps around Spa in this car but time set is a PB and cant see much more time in it with current setup. Sakitto GP: Watkins Glen GP: Note: New PB by a whole second. Stu's and V8's time done on race fuel as they pitted lap 1 while others done on low fuel and fresh tyres due to pitting mid race.
Spa has always been my favourite track... the one I can actually match some of the quicker guys... that lap was done in VH's draft from out of Le Source all the way to Pouhon where he had a moment and spun ... by the time I got to sector 2 I was 1.5 up on my 19.8
