Apparently the Ring’s too long to do a qualifying lap for (never been an issue before) so I thought screw it lets spice it up and do something different y’know
Normal qually after finishing last lap after 10min takes 11mins. Qually at Nurb24hr is an outlap and a hot lap that would take a maximum of 17mins (Div3 times). So for the sake of 6 mins, mid season rules will be changed and qually will be shafted this week then a vote??? Personally without qually i will feel as if i am missing one of the enjoyable things in a night of season racing at ROOZ.
We have had the qualifying over two laps of this track when it has been an enduro round, this isn't an enduro round so an extra 10 minutes over a normal round hardly seems anything to quibble about. I'll go with the flow though.
Surely as a GTLOZ Results steward, with the most life experience, your highly respected wise opinion should be adhered too
There’s an issue with you winning by 20 seconds tho This is a joke for anyone lacking a sense of humour
Tend to agree, This should really go to a vote but instead we're changing up something that has been used since GT5 days? Figure that one out
Just to clarify, Keeden’s the benchmark, one of the fastest, probably the fastest driver we’ve ever had the misfortune of fighting against, this decision was taken to make the Nürb event easier and avoid a procession, not to deliberately hinder Keeden, I can do that myself by T-boning him at turn 1
Maybe it’s just me, but this looks like something you could try in a test race, not in a middle of a championship season.
So based on div 3 at approx 8:10 per lap that's 49mins + 16min quali we're looking at 65mins total instead of the normal say 50mins. Given we're prepared to do 90mins for enduro is the change warranted? A suggestion, as a compromise, drop the race to 5 laps, keep quality as 1 out, 1 flyer. That''s about 57min.
We've done a 2 lap qually around the ring since the first rooz gt sport round. Of course everythings going to take longer, its the green hell. Don't see the need to change
Nurb could never be a procession. It is a challenge against the track as much as other drivers. I reckon Risky had his best ever race here at ROOZ at Nurb really pushing Keeden. Such a dangerous place to overtake too, patience needs to be shown.
OK, so it's a guestimate based off me watching @Ozglenn do an 8:13 on Sunday. Besides it made the maths easier.
