With over almost half of season 9 complete, let's get the words rolling on possible cars for next season If you have an idea, share it!! Personally, I would like to finally run a season in the Nissan Skyline R32 TC and possibly include more weather rounds due to how stable the car is. Yes it has some understeer but you don't need practice to be fast. A very easy arrive and drive car.
Personally i much prefer Race cars (I'm sure someone will nominate the HSV ....again), but for a street car i really enjoyed the Aston Martin 'Vantage' in the Throwback series. Made for some good racing. Not a whole lot of practice needed to have decent pace either.
And that someone is me. I cannot fathom how this car has lost so many car polls despite getting so close. It's long overdue for use in a Sunday series.
4WD. I find the only way to get that thing around a corner is to use 0-10 brake balance, maybe a bit of handbrake as well.
An 'easy to drive' car should not be touted as 'fast with no practice'. Even s need to practice, if only a little bit. No practice, not "fast". I think a more accurate term would be 'fun with no practice'.
If you had 1986 F1 qualifying tyres on the front and tyres made of ice on the rear, maybe, just maybe, the rear will step out with a Scandinavian Flick.
I wish there was an award for the funniest post i have read, that one would get my vote @N64TheStig007
I rarely say anything regarding car choices and I normally don't mind what the car is, but I need to comment to say that the HSV will never get my vote because it's boring as hell. It's just a really boring car that you can get good races in public lobbies with. It's got zero character and zero charm. It's not engaging to any car enthusiast degree. It's got no bite. Here's my radical 2 cents: pick something far more quintessentially Gran Turismo. With all this GT Sport news coming out, I've found myself delving into the nostalgia of the past games, and I miss them greatly. I'd kill to have a quality racing season with a Standard car instead of a Premium car. I'd KILL for it, especially when all cars are going to be Super Premiums very soon. The R32 would get my instant approval. Ford 2000 Ford Falcon XR8 Nissan PENNZOIL Nismo GT-R '99 Toyota GT-One (TS020) '99 Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 (!!) Ford Focus Rally Car '99 Peugeot 206 Rally Car '99 Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon GT-B '96 Tommykaira ZZII '00 Toyota ALTEZZA (any variant) (TVR & TOM's Supra have already been season cars) ---- But feel free to disagree of course. If you wanna pick some sterile HSV or some other modern supercar that you could pick in any racing game under the sun currently, I won't argue or anything. We don't know if the cars above will ever be in a Gran Turismo again, but I guarantee that they'll never pop up in any other game EVER again (fine... the Focus and the 206 are in Dirt: Rally). Seton wants you to pick his car. Thanks for reading.
Are you hating on this poor car because it's well designed At first I wasn't a fan of it, but after doing HTO 474778 in it I kinda realised its a beautiful car, that can be pushed and pushed and pushed, don't write it off so early crunch. It's a pretty amazing car.
I'd prefer to go back to ROOZ's roots. A tuned car, something along the lines of the HPA Audi TT. Anyone still remember that?
