Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the gulf. Had a short run today in the FC and it's So much more stable than the gulf.
I liked Ford Sierra... good pick @v8power383 Formula C was good 2 And finally Ford Escort There my top 3 so far..
The sierra is my all time favourite touring car. Love it, and it felt pretty good tonight, I'm Not sure the lower divs would feel that way. When the boost kicks in she gets pretty excited
Speaking for the lower divs, the Sierra is incredible. It does require some throttle control but I wouldn't say it's overly difficult to drive like the V8 Supercar is. It handles really well, turns in beautifully, and the brakes are good. You gotta be careful on exit and when the boost kicks in but we want something that's a little bit of a challenge anyway. I can handle it pretty well and I don't even have FFB on my wheel. The Formula C is fun but it lacks a bit of character and gets a bit boring in my opinion. My top three would be: 1. Sierra 2. Escort 3. Formula C
My Net died before i could test it but i've driven it enough to know it'd be an awesome season car! +1 for the Sierra! (My 3rd Car Preference change in as many days... WHOOPS)
Im sticking with FC but that little sierra is a close second for sure. Dunno if i could go a whole escort season, its a fun car to have a whip in but would be frustrating as a season car IMO
I agree with @Zachery. FC is my number 1 pick. The sierra wasn't too bad but the escort would be boring as batsh*t. The V8 supercar would be an equal 2nd pick along with the sierra.
After discovering i could teleport past other cars last night and finally having a connection long enough to test some of the cars my pick would have to be the V8, then the sierra and finally the FC.
+1 sierra didn't drive it last night but I've driven it before and it's good as. Drove the FC and it wasn't fun
Had a drive of the Sierra this morning to blow the cobwebs out of the wheel and ps4, and because my gameplay settings are all set to real there was no traction control or abs and it was a handful but still very drivable, so seems ok to me, I haven't tried anything else yet though, but the if the guys in the lower divs can hang on to the Sierra they will probably be much better drivers come the end of the season.
That's the best way to drive these old things on a Sim. Turn the Auto-Clutch off as well and when you get a lap hooked up it is awesome!! Not a fan of the Formula C still. Theres no real fight with it 99% of the time, and then out of no where it will throw you at a wall because you looked at it the wrong way. Plus unless we just pick a bunch of Tracks like Monza where the SlipStream becomes more over-powered than a Formula E Fanboost, the racing will be fairly dull. Alot of Aero Push when behind another car.
Not taking anything away from the Sierra, but it is a Group A car which we used in season 2 isn't it?
We've had Two GT3 cars in 5 Seasons. Sadly this game doesn't really spoil us for choice. The 190E and the Sierra are worlds apart anywho. Pace wise and driving style wise.
I had a go in the sierra today and have to say I really enjoyed it, I think the turbo kick is fairly easy to control and shouldn't give anyone too much trouble. I think my top three would be the sierra and the v8 equal 1st and then the formula C
