If thought you wanted crappy teams n64, arrows in all hindsight wasnt that bad of a team they atleast got a podium, should swap Arrows for Andrea Moda lmao.

The owner of Andrea Moda literally made the team just to show off to his lady friends that he has an F1 team LOL.

Williams could also possibly be Arrows Yamaha.

I think I am going to agree with Mustafur and ban suspension tuning since, against my predictions, it made very little difference to the steering lock.

I want to strike a balance of teams Mus, aside from the Hungarian GP in 1997 and a few periods before and after, Arrows aren't legendary.
If you want to change the Williams BMW to Arrows Yamaha, I'm not going to stop you, though if that happens Andrea Moda was my 2nd choice for that colour lol
Hell, I could always change Ferrari to Life! LMFAO

Some cars are just too cool to qualify for qualifying.

Lol Some engines are too cool to last more than 8 seconds!

I've decided that this is going to be a 7 round championship, but to decide tracks, I'm going to get all participants to compile a list of the 7 events they'd like to see thrown in, due to the polling tool only allowing for 10 options. You only get to vote once, and the 7 most chosen tracks will be our track list. This process will be completed in a separate thread.

I was holding out just because I literally know the F1 series back to front, but I won't anymore; just because I enjoy open wheelers far more than a touring car.

I'd like a drive for any car (but I do like the Ferrari).

If I may also suggest - why not jack the minimum weight on the cars up to 690 kg so it matches the 2014 regulations?

Jacking up the weight would be classed as "tuning".

    And why is tuning bad?

Formula1 is all about the car tuning... if this is meant to be Formula1... I think tuning is very important, and besides, this isn't the Sunday races so is the comparative car aspect completely necessary? Changes to downforce is very important...

I don't really have a problem with tuning but i doubt the racing will be close.

Just asking, what relevance is it making the weight the same?

Yeah that's what I was alluding to lol, add to that I can never be bothered tuning. Downforce isn't too bad though

    Well... firstly for authenticity's sake.

Secondly, adding 90kg will make a big difference to the handling and whatnot. I haven't purchased an FGT on GT6 yet, but the GT5 rendition was a real handful, and had dramatic speed with proportionately little downforce. The car needed lots of engine tuning to just be drivable (because everyone naturally decided to use the maximum aero). So from that experience, adding 90 kilograms (weight that can be dictated in position), and shaving off about 20 BHP (I recall that the ERS from turbo and braking supplied 130 extra BHP on top of the average 600BHP output of the V6) would make the racing much more fun because of the manipulability and lower speeds. They won't be so incredibly fast, and it'll reel back the lap times to a much more friendly F1 nature. The ratio between corner speed and aerodynamics would be far more managable and realistic. The FGT was always a crazily powered open-wheeler without any proper downforce.

Because Sunday races are untuned, I don't do any tuning on GT6, and wouldn't it be fun to do? I'll remind the reader that F1 is allabout the car setup.

But I might phrase this differently: if you decide eventually that tuning is allowed, then why not?
