Laguna Seca was part of the old cart series calendar.

F1s never raced there though, it was a very dangerious track for open wheeled cars, pretty sure last time they raced there a driver got killed.

The '97 Jordan is easily one of my favourite F1 cars ever!

I'm about to make a list of all the colours for the FGT and match them to an F1 team (past and present). I'm sure some of you will disagree, but I'm going to try my damn hardest to make it as accurate as possible.

Yep, a guy from Uruguay. Went too hot into the corkscrew and hit the barrier flipping the car upside down. Was watching the race at the time.

the all blue one would be good for Prost or Liger

I'm tossing up Prost/Ligier for that one or even Rothmans Williams, my favourite livery of all time. Most likely will be Prost though

The white and blue stripes would be good for williams too, kind of like the BMW Williams livery.

what i think could be a good list:
white with blue = Williams BMW, Brabham
Silver = Mercedes
Grey with Black = Mclaren(current and West Livery)
Yellow with Black = Jordan
Red = Ferrari
Blue with light blue = Prost, Sauber or Tyrell
Orange with grey = Orange Arrows(2001 -2002)
Silver with red = Mclaren Vodaphone sponsor era
Blue and red = Red Bull
Green and Yellow = Caterham
white, green and red = BAR

White with Purple: Stewart Grand Prix
White with Blue: BMW Williams F1 Team
White with Red and Green: BAR Honda
Light Silver: Mercedes Benz AMG
Silver and Black: West McLaren Mercedes
Yellow and Black: Benson & Hedges Jordan GP Team
Beige: Coloni
Red: Scuderia Ferrari
Green and Yellow: Team Lotus
Blue: Prost Grand Prix Team
Pale Green: Benetton F1 Team
Orange and Light Brown: Spyker F1 Team
Dark/Pale Blue with Red and Gray: Minardi
Chrome and Red: Hispania Racing Team
Very Dark Green with Brown: Arrows
Pink: Brabham

the F1 car looks like its from 2004 or 2005 from the aero if you want to make it time relevent too, just deduct mercedes, and caterham and you have a pretty realistic grid.

The nosecone is from the Williams FW18, but apart from that, it is a 2004 car with a V12 engine.

Plain Silver is definitely Mercedes, the Mclaren one would suit the grey and black(the colour just below)

if you want to make it time relevent the Green and gold would be ok for Jaguar(even though it was silver instead of gold you still get the look of it mostly)

I'm not worried about time frames, I think a series with crappy, forgotten teams and the giants of F1 would be awesome.
For some reason when doing the list it looked white to me, but as I put on the glasses it looks more silver. Going to edit it now.
