Discovered how to use the gears, use low revs, and shift at 6000rpm max, was finally able to do consistent .1's at t1, by staying in 3rd for the first chicane, I reckon I'll be able to crack a sub 25 by the end.
Haven't had time to post times, my current best is just a small 10 min attempt, very frustrating not being able to lap atm.
I'm getting server issues left right and centre at the moment. ID=2 or 2.05 something. Still wouldn't have a clue how to crack 26s as I can't access people's ghosts because of the server issues. Monday is the cut-off for me; if I can't reach 26s by then, I'll have to start studying for law exams. I'm pretty screwed as it is though, lol.
Did anyone else catch the gt academy ad during halftime between the Dragons V Bulldogs game on foxtel? Had another good run today, and also blew a potential 24 but clipping the cones at the ford chicanes. Goal is now definitely an 3:24 lap. Australia also has the 2nd fastest top 10 behind Japan, Super competitive just to get in.
How do you make it look so easy!?!?!? Fantastic lap! Would love to know what planet you came from, because that is one alien time! Nice fist pump at the end too
Trust me mate, it may look easy but It's one of the most hellish combo's I've ever driven due to the last section! I never thought I would get such a low 25 initially, but thanks to discovering a few things about gear changing and selection, I began to see a lower 25. Good luck warrior with the 24, If you get it you win in Australia as I won't be attempting another session, hopefully this time holds on for a world podium!
What I take from it is how remarkably calm and smooth it looks, I need to stop being so brash and violent with it.
At the same house is it using same internet? They might check ip address as well, might be an idea for one of you 2 lower your time using a phone hotspot or something, if you both plan on going that is
Holl01, Beau and giggidy_oh. 12th will get you in for now, but I think you'll need a 26.1 to be safe. Plus there's still Mus and Nicko to put in some competitive times
Im pulling out this year, i have too many things to sort out before I can commit to what the final prize gives you. I'll be training hard until next year where I should be more suited, but i wont take the place of someone who will go to the final to win the prize.
