So much time in the last chicanes... even warrior loses 1/2 a sec there! Ive found a slower but more consistent approach to getting onto the straight... now its just those braking zones at Mulsane and Arnage... Btw @GTP_DHolland nice time!
Yeah, I was up so much that I didn't want to screw it up and I was way too cautious. I've also done red 35.9 and 35.7 laps. Well done Dan for getting into the 25's, I hope to join you shortly. @N64TheStig007 I wanna see you do another 2000 km. Keep at it guys, still 10 days to go. @skywalker
3 days left for me. Thought I had the corner onto the straight sorted... But far from it! I'm constantly 1 sec up even with my sucky corner, but lose it all in the back part of the lap.. Either big slide through s's, to safe at final chicane or braking at arnage!
Is everyone else struggling to complete their lap? I just completed my second ever full lap after probably 9 hours. Haha, and I'm only posting rounded lap times.
I've done over 2500km and have only completed 4 legitimate laps. The towel is so close to being thrown, but I want this so badly.
How do you know the distance you've driven? I only know my time. 11 hours now. 3rd legitimate lap- I just pipped your spot N64 =P sorry about that. I've still got more time in the tank, but I'm not sure whether a 3:26 is within my capabilities yet. Does the rate of improvement ever slow down? At this rate, only 3:25s will make it.
It only tells you during a particular session, but I know roughly how much I've driven, around 1500 clicks, sneaked withing half a second of Mr Wolf with a 25.662, few more tenths to find, anywhere really, its a demanding trial of commitment, u can lose a tenth or more in one corner but then destroy the next 3 or 4 corners and make it up and then some, or u could be a tenth up and systematically lose a little bit here and there over the next 3 or 4 corners. Tough slog trying to chase the podium (my goal). I know the podium may very well be all in the 24's, wouldn't surprise me with a few sand baggers that might creep in at the last minute. If anyone needs help I can offer it in some form or another.
Does anyone else use the car like a bowling ball at the cones? I've scored a stack of strikes when ever there's a line of cones to hit!
Had a pretty good day today 3:25.626, and also a red 25.3. I'm still losing the most time the the porsche curvers and ford chicances. The eligible cutoff looks to be 13th 3:27.285, so never give up guys well done @Fastboysmith 15th @Pringles_947 still very close 7 tenths is still within striking distance @N64TheStig007 @Crunch ?? @Mustafur @AUSnicko9
Up to 3700km now... Still no improvement... Though I've gotten a red 26.6... Dropped all the way to 26th...
Nice time warrior, I chased your ghost for a 100 km's or so, you were like a bat out of hell for the first 3/4 of the track! How much faster is it with TCS on 1? I won't try it though. If I can get the first part of the track working, I will snare a low 25 at most, 24's too much lol.
Thanks Dan, I haven't driven without tc yet, I'm assuming it's slower since I'm the only one near the top using it. I'll keep going until I can't find more time then I turn it off for a comparison. What we need is my 1st half and your 2nd half, then we might have a chance at beating wolf
I find TC1 just means less understeer, but with it off you get better acceleration. So its a trade, but for consistency I prefer it. I've got a low 27 / high 26, but just cant seem to put it together! Constantly 1 sec up on my pb, but absolutely sucking at the last 2 sectors, thats if I dont screw up at Arnage. I found the key with Tertre Rouge, was to stop looking at the damn split! lol Found much more consistency through there, even stuck a 31.3 sector 1 (but managed to drop 6 tenths at Arnage on that particular lap! lol) What brake markers are you guys using for end of Mulsane straight and at Arnage?
