2015 GT Academy Thread

Its much harder than the 1st round last year... 2mins keeping it together, keep going up .5 and then throwing it away on the final corner running on the ripple strip!

My bet is that its all building up for le mans in the final round with the LMP2 car

It seems quite harsh on the track limits rule...I've been pinged a few times when I was certain I had two wheels on the track inside the white line.

Hmmm not a fan of being able to use the handbrake to help rotate the car

Not a fan of the car in the first place, im just going to wait till next round.

Spent a good hour yesterday and was consistently 1 second slower than my normal pace the day before Sigh..

that has always been the case, i was the same Luke...

I find if I walk away turn off the PS, come back and go in without PSN and friends I can get the speed back.. I swear traction\speed changes... it was like this last year too...

Need a bit of help guys , every time i get a good time when i exit this error code comes up and it dose not recognise my time .
It reads . A connection to the server could not be established . ( ID = 2:0 )

Your net has probably disconnected while you where doing your lap.

It does it every time

Finally able to get back on since Tuesday for a solid hour session....set a new time of 2.05.231 which I am really happy with

All PB sectors are showing a 04.8-9 possible though so with some free time tomorrow, I hope to crack it and be the first in the 04s without handbrake

Awesome time Mint I have had a couple of sessions since day 1 and just cannot seem to improve on my .473... multiple times I have been up on my ghost but somehow I did an awesome run through Maggotts-Becketts which I just cannot seem to replicate again

TIP: run again, without your PB ghost, so you wont be thinking about that. All you need to do is improve on your current session!

Believe it or not Rotor, before I saw your edit I just ran a 1.5hr session this arvo, decided not to load my ghost and do exactly as you said.. and just ran a 2'05.191 for world #23! A 2'04 is definitely possible without the handbrake.

I had it gain grip on me. When it first opened I got down to a 2:05.9 before struggling to improve from that for about an hour, I had a break and then quickly in consective laps, posted a 5.6 and 5.5. I actually thought I could have been cheating somehow, so I just left it at that before I posted a really quick lap

that happened for me, I did a 30 min run at the start and got a 2:06.5 then another 5 min run and I got a 2:05.9.

then I stopped lol

I feel that too but was unsure if its me or the game. I'm stuck on a 2.06.3

well i guess i started with the grip because i was just learning the car, next day easy 05.5 then went again 05.1
but then start of this week im back to 06.0s and no chance of improving
