Having never played AC, I guess it isn't a game you just pick up and drive, tuning is paramount? I simply don't have the time these days to tune cars just to be sorta competitive... Hence why I prefer non-tuning comps...
I think a lot of people will be in the same boat and the whole tune v non tune debate will inevitably be raised again as soon as people start on AC. Depending on how the cars drive with a stock tune there might be a fixed tune option or like pcars this season just pick a car that is great out of the box and go with that.
@Rumbleshorts, on PC I usually just jump in a car and drive it, I'm never going to running near the front with the Aliens but I do have enough decent battles at the back of the pack and its usually in a stock setup as I cant setup a tune to save my life.

As we know on the PC version you cant create a server from inside the game menu so I guess they have to figure out a way on add that in for consoles. Totally agree with all the comments though as this decision will turn a lot of people away from a great game. Hope they fix it sooner rather than later
If it can be done with other PS4 games, then the 'architecture' is there to do it. I don't think it will take long before we find private lobbies available.
hope you are right....with GTS on its way it could be a diabolical decision for them to omit it.......seen in other forums today that if there is an option for the room host to kick people he doesnt want then that could work......will wait to see what the guys say who pick it up....
What an absolute joke this is, why are the developers of basically racing title complete morons? I have no words to describe how frustrated I am.
stands to reason that every time there is a new title on PS it doesnt quite tick all the boxes ! not sure why we are all so surprised
Well if you were to tell me beforehand that in 2016 a racing simulation game with online support would not allow you to create your own lobby for friends to join, I would have laughed and told you to stop being so daft.
