I would be very surprised if passwords aren't added to lobby set-ups shortly after release, we have passwords on the PC version so it would be strange if it was not added.
This would actually be a fair slogan for AC, more accurate than "your racing simulator" anyway . Welcome to the long queue of people baffled by AC devs decisions, console brothers. AC has some of the best content and feel of any of the simulators available but they constantly shoot themselves in the foot with their horrible PR and decisions like this. I pre-downloaded this last night, hoping to jump on at 10pm and give it a crack. Fell asleep at 9pm...hahaha, must be getting old!
Not particularly impressed by the PS4 version, there's a serious lack of wheel options which make my wheel less than ideal to use and the online itself is a disaster. Still the driving is pretty sweet. Edit: Turning off understeer effects definitely makes it more enjoyable.
What wheel you got Jono, and what makes it less than ideal, I'm just curious, but unless they get multiplayer sorted I'm not going to bother.
Thrustmaster T500 with F1 rim If you have the FFB too high it shakes like crazy in a straight line, on Pcars and F1 2016 I can cure this issue by adding a small deadzone, but not here.
If it's anything like the PC version you'll want to turn down or turn off all wheel force "effects" as these are not true force feed back and tend to mask what you really want to be feeling. Sounds like your effects/gain is too high.
I really did like the way it felt when I dabbled with it a bit on PC but it was just too much of a pain to get it to run consistently on my laptop, it will be a massive shame if they won't include private lobbies on the ps4 version, makes it pretty much worthless as a league racing platform.
I have just brought home my AC download the DLC got my first medal WOW sound is awesome but and a BIG BUT I'm disapointed interior of cars are excellent except rearview mirror appalling,tracks above average graphics. Really I personally put it in the arcade mode of racing rather than simulator.
