It's a Shame the R34s handle like they have Flat front tyres. The Supra is probably more connected to him though since he had one as a daily and was the same one used in his last scene. That from memory is very understeery as well though lol, allthough the 2J sounds good.
ok guys...am getting close to putting up a 3 car poll to get the car sorted for season 6..... Did some testing last night with a few guys and came up with the following after a couple of races.... Caterham......no.....just too slow and will bore half the field to sleep.... BMW M3 07......will test tonight again, feedback was it drove well but sounded Amuse 380RS, was excellent to drive but want to test on very fast wear..Had a cracking race in it.... Mines r34. will test it tonnight, some of the guys didnt like it....too much understeer Ferrari GTO 84.....cant tell you what natman did in his pants after driving this, suffice to say im willing to give it a go tonight and see if i can get the same feeling Lotus 111R ...will test tonight and see how it goes.... Will set up some 10 lap races tonight from 9:30 sydney time .... come and join if you can....make some more suggestions as i want a final car poll up by no later than sunday night.
With the caterham ruled out this is by far my car of choice: Yes it has a low top speed but its a rocket off the line (pun intended). Power can always be reduced for tracks with longer straights to ensure your not red lining for long periods of time.
Damn it won't be able to make it on that late, havnt driven any of the cars mentioned but I higjly recommend to try the gallardo 560-4 it's a beast
Ferrari GTO 84 is a perfect choice plenty of grunt handles superbly sounds awsome, on sports tyres its a true sportscar. Love this option It would be great to run an MR platform for a change up to since the previous couple seasons being in an FR layout.
The BMW M3 GTR 03 got some favorable comments earlier in the thread. It can't have race numbers but that shouldn't be a game breaker with team colours, driver names above etc.
closed throttle causes the rear to lock up badly with just a little tyre wear. corner entry was nightmarish tippy toe drama
I think for Tonight another good option would be to consider the BMW M4 as well, from memory its a bit softer then the M3 '07 so might be better to drive for the lower division drivers. Also for the Love of god can we test on Fast or Normal wear lol. Try Mid Feild as the track imo, the C63 was really good there, Trial Mountain is probably better suited to lower Powered Road cars like the RX7 season or Race cars with Aero and race tyres.
Love the Ferrari, but really it can only be used with normal wear. Which is fine by me, anything more than normal and it becomes ridiculous.
