GT6 [COMPLETED] Global Rallycross - 10/2, 17/2, 24/2, 3/3

This series will consist of 3 races per round lasting 15min each. Tracks selected for some tight and furious racing. The cars are engineering master pieces.

The cars:

Lancia Delta S4 85' - 449HP/8,000 rpm - 332.7 ft-lb/5,000rpm - 890kg



Audi Quattro S1 86' - 469HP/7,500 rpm - 354.2 ft-lb/5,500rpm - 1090kg



205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally Car '86 - 449HP/8,000 rpm - 361.6 ft-lb/5,500rpm - 910kg


Full championship consisting of 4 Rounds:

Round 1 - British - 10th Feb - 8:30pm
- Silverstone stowe
- London
- Brands hatch Indy

Round 2 - Original - 17th Feb - 8:30pm
- Mattenhorn short
- Cape ring inside
- Autumn Ring Mini

Round 3 - Rally - 24th Feb - 8:30pm
- Eiger Nordwand short
- Eiger Nordwand - W trail
- Charmonix - Mini

Round 4 - Japan - 3rd March - 8:30pm
- TC
- Suzuka East
- Twin ring motegi east


Just like the global rallycross, lite contact is allowed, but if you intentionally take someone out of the race then you will be penalized with a drive through post race.
- No ramming hard up the rear.
- No ramming into walls.
- Diving down the inside (if door is open) and pushing someone wide, but not into wall, is acceptable.

Damage will be on weak. Corner cutting is allowed.

Each lap you are required to do a 360 somewhere between the last and first corner, except for the first and last lap.

You can choose to not do a 360 for 1 lap, this will be your Joker lap. Choose wisely

Div 2-3 comfort medium
Div 4-6 comfort soft

No traction control or abs.

Each race (3 per round) to be scored same as Sunday league races + a bonus 20 points for showing up per round.

Qualifying for each round will be hot lap qualifier for race 1 and then reverse grid for following 2 races.

The idea is to have it really tight, like the global rallycross tracks and under 1 min to do a lap. The focus isn't so much on cutting corners. I haven't done any real testing yet to work out what works.

I know at willow, silverstone you get reset (and have to do an extra lap) if you cut the track through the midfield.

Silverstone international you can cut every corner as well as the entire chicane and not get reset.

Stowe would be good if you can cut it with penalties off, use the short cut as a joker lap like they do in the real thing.

Yes this would be awesome But would mean maybe have boost off. Will need to test it.

The last corner has a big cut on it probably best one, then just enforce track limits for the rest.

Regarding boost. Run in if you want, its completely up to you. But if you do it will put this series out of eligibility for the BJH ROC

Ok so did some track testing. You can't cut across open fields as it resets you, so at the moment no joker lap.

Rather than getting to ambitious first off, it'll be just a 2 week series. So probably just the 2 most popular rounds.

I remember in V8 Supercars/TOCA 2 there was a rallycross track at Brands Hatch, it was wicked fun!

Yeah its there in GT6 but you cant use it lol.

All the tracks are great fun and quite different. Lap times are around 1 min or less.

Just need to lock down car choice, or might make it 1 make (eg audi rally car).

what about detuning the SX4 pikes peak and the Escudo and have 3?

yep thats what I'd like to do... they dont need to be exactly the same as due to the nature of the racing a bit of luck will come into play. But close enough will work.

I want to try any work this out over the long weekend.
