Will try and be there, tried wheel on PS4 last night with some limited success.

Had some issue getting the PS4 and Pcars to see wheel initially.
Finally worked out to press PS button and all that jazz.
I calibrated the T300 in the options menu, along with the pedals.
I went to a free run, Bathurst with the Escort, and once I got on track the wheel was out by a good 45deg, go back to menus and the wheel was all good, spun back to centre.
I closed the game "application" and re-opened it, went to track and the wheel hadn't recognized, and the controller was needed to operate the car, I goes back to options, no T300 listed.
I mucked around a bit it was late, I was tired and cracking the s#!ts.
Will have a play when I get home, and do some online research.

Any tips from fellow rooz would be appreciated.

With the calibration of the wheel, first turn is full lock, then it wants you to turn the other way only 90 degrees. Make sure you see lots of zeros before you hit the set button.

As for getting the wheel working, do not use controller at all. If you are using it for a headset, like me, wait until the game has loaded the main page before starting the controller.

    Hope this helps.

Cheers mate, I thought that might had been the issue with two controllers, like I said I was tired and cranky/pig headed.

And I may have done that calibration wrong, I thought I had to take wheel back to centre, then turn 90deg  not turn 90deg from full lock

Actually, I remember reading a link that explained calibration a little better and dependent on the degree rotation you're using.
I'll see if u can find it better.
What Ad2 said is correct in what the game tries to explain, but this other tutorial says otherwise.

@Clevohead when calibrating your wheel, make sure you hold the wheel at full lock when you press accept (the x button), and the wheel will try to re-adjust itself for that split sec. Once it's done that, then you can rotate your wheel 90°. Make sure you rotate exactly to 900° and then press "x" to accept.
It now should be correctly calibrated and you can go ahead and fine tune the ffb options to your hearts content.

Firstly set the wheel rotation to 900 degrees. {on the steering wheel itself} This is done by pressing the dpad button left or right and pressing the mode button once. the mode light will flash.1 Flash - 270 degrees.2 Flashes - 360 degrees.3 flashes - 540 degrees.4 flashes - 900 degrees.5 flashes - 1080 degrees.

So it needs to flash 4 times. Then the wheel is set to 900 degrees.

Then go to the wheel calibration page in the game. Start Calibration. Rotate the wheel all the way anticlockwise till it stops, then press next.

    {this next bit is what I and most people have been doing wrong as the directions on screen are not clear or accurate}

Then rotate the wheel clockwise till it reads 900 degrees exactly. then press next.

Hopefully it should then match the cockpit view and be easy to drive.

The fine tuning of the wheel can then be done. See the youtube video link posted by LtDuder.

    Thanks all for your help.

The above should match the steering response you see in cockpit mode.

Mine matches thank Christ I didn't have to fiddle with the rotation degrees or I'd have been curled up sobbing thinking I'd broke it.

Unless they have NBN/an awesome connection, it would be preferred that it wasn't. Fastboy did at the enduro and lag bashed everyone who got near him.
