T.T. makes it just like qually , spread out, find a bit of room, no dust in ya face.
Set a time limit, and it gives you a result screen with everyones fastest time, in finishing order. Add the 3 or 4 times up at the end. so a bit of maths at the end, not much else to it.

@mmm_homebrew , that old Lancer and Bluebird are great fun. I got keen after you were telling me about your hillclimbs, so had a go at making my own :), but cant figure out a way to TT (at all) ,or race , with all drivers times being saved, with multiple runs per driver.... just the leaders fastest time in the bottom corner, just like normal prac mode. have you guys figured the settings, if even possible ??
    Cheers

if you use custom hillclimb tracks maybe a few of us could come up with some pace notes for some of the mic users to call for some drivers.....people could sign up in a duo...

3 right, caution, over crest, bad camber

@Randm90 , you could also think about doing different classes each Rally (week) maybe, to cater for different peoples taste in cars.
    say....
week 1- four stages = 1 rally in the pre '74's . Lancer/Datto. (b.o.p. would be needed on these, so maybe one make)
    week 2 - pre '03
    week 3 - WRC
    Week 4 - Group B
Class champ each rally , then one overall Champ.

might be too much of a juggle doing B.O.P. on them all tho, but the SX4 base model could be used for Group B, or just go one make.

Hey that's a grand idea, lets see what @Randm90 thinks about it, it certainly means less of a headache for testing
but we still maintain some variety.

haven't really had a play at timing it but the way we have run the hillclimb in the past is either first place with the time or your'e nobody, end of story.
i like all the ideas with different stages and points for the night but if the pp gets too high it only suits people who can drift on purpose. (not like me, by accident)

+1, agree with that. The group B's and above are pretty out of control.... Good fun for a change up ,but a pretty wild ride.
Seems with the point to points , there is no way to TT , just the leaders time, or a 3 min , one run race ..,.

@Randm90 I did roughly 80 laps overall testing at Trial Mountain last night using the 90's and new millennium WRC cars. These are done with no tuning, as cars are almost identical in power and weight, at 300bhp and 1230kg.
There are some exceptions however, as indicated. The CZ-3 for example needed to be reduced from 320bhp and weight added to be on par. The Lancia has less power than its peers but weighs 100kg less. The Evo IV required an oil change to reach the correct power.

    Ford Focus: 1:29.5
    Lancer Evo Super: 1:29.8*
    Impreza 2003: 1:29.8*
    Lancia Delta Intergrale: 1:29.8
    Peugeot 206: 1:29.9
    Impreza Prototype: 1:30.0
    Impreza 2001: 1:30.1
    Mitsubishi CZ-3: 1:30.3^
    Hyundai Accent: 1:30.5
    Lancer Evo VI: 1:30.6
    Ford Escort: 1:30.8
    Toyota Corolla: 1:30.8
    Impreza 1999: 1:30.8
    Lancer Evo IV: 1:31.1'
    Celica 205: 1:31.4
    Celica 185: 1:34.9

    * = reduced power
^ = reduced power and increaced weight
    ' = oil change

Okay everyone! With the testing Jono and I did, we have decided that the series will be:
Week One: Classics Rally - "Pre '74 Rally - Lancer - Tracks TBC (4)

Week Two: Late 90's/Early 00's Rally - 16 listed cars (selecting your car will open at a certain date that will be first in best served) - Tracks TBC (4 total, 2 Dirt/Tarmac, 1 Snow, 1 Full Tarmac)

Week Three: WRC or potentially WRX (that way we could do TT for week two, circuit racing week three) - WRC Cars (late 00's) - Tracks TBC (4, thinking 2 dirt, 2 Tarmac)

Week Four: Group B - Cars TBC - Tracks TBC (4, all Tarmac)

    How's this sound everyone?

*Note - The two Celicas are incredibly off pace, so we may leave those out and double up another car

I may be incorrect but I believe course maker point to point races cannot be done online?

they can be done online but I think it is practice only so the room can only see their own time and the fastest time

Discussed with Jono, we will probably have someone spectating each driver and recording their time :) and have each driver go one by one
