Looks like codies have pulled the rug out by changing their root URL from dirtrally2.com to dirtrally2.dirtgame.com.
I've fixed them all up now.

Well, first 3 stages were good, last 3 were a debacle.

Got back into it after missing last week due to The Last of Us 2. Currently 2nd after squeezing out @Hatfield by 8 tenths of a second.

Looks the codies championship table has looped out and gone completely mobius.
Soooo. I think I've figured out their system and will just manually replicate it.

    Last place: 1 point.
Mid pack: +1 point more than next closest finisher.
2nd place: +2 points more than 3rd place
1st place: +3 points more than 2nd place

Last with being 5min down. But I did manage a fastest sector in there somewhere. So still fairly happy.

A word of caution for this week's historic RWD round - be careful of the turbo cars. I tried the Escort and it has an incredible amount of power in a very tight rev range. I started to get the hang of it about 5 stages in, but I still was crashing everywhere even then. The first stage was really unpredictable where the power would come on at none of the times I was expecting it to come on. No doubt it would be an absolute weapon in the right hands, but maybe not the right car to just 'jump' in for a spin.

I'm sure it is if you're experienced with these beasts, but being a n00b, I got pwned.

Nice nobody fell of the chart this time and one of the closest overall spreads in any championship event so far
Amazingly close between Kieran and Hat! Added the championship pts chart in since the codies one has completely looped out.

    My report:
    Stage 1, 20 sec down on @Slambobagan . I'm scared.
Stage 2 is faster so more scared... now only 6s behind!
only 2 min of bodywork repairs
    new set of tyres
struggling with over rotation at hairpins lost another 8s at stage 3 to be 14 behind. almost slid off a hairpin ledge with the tape snapping but my tyres not going over luckily
Stage 4 did a 360 without serious damage and lost another 7s, now 21 behind. Had a close call with a jump where the right rear went up diagonally
    3:20 repairs bodywork and radiator
    new set of tyres
    Stage 5
    Its raining BUGGER
lost 12s, that was just yuck in the wet
    33s down into last stage
    Thank god it's dry
Stage 6 got snagged on a tree on the inside of a hairpin, 1st time managed to get out with throttle, 2nd time, had to reverse DAMMIT
reverse entry over the finish into a barrier to get my first major damage, luckily the stage was over and who needs the boot lid and spoiler anyway lol
down 44s to slambo at the end, not bad since I was paralyzed by fear the entire time, lets do it again!

I recommend taking the car and just doing a practice run somewhere to learn how to drive it first as it is completely different to the FWD and 4WD cars.
I found I would brake if needed but only in as straight-ish line as possible then just lift to go into corners and apply throttle slowly

What a saga, I can sense the anxiety.
Under what stage of the corner / inputs are you struggling with rotation? Some ideas below:
If under or upon releasing brakes:Try moving your brake bias forward and braking a bit earlier into hairpins, pump and feather on entry to control the rotation - digital full on then full off is likely to put you in a spin.
If under wheel input alone: try locking up the diff decel.
If on feathering the throttle: try decreasing diff preload.
If you're finding you need to mash the throttle to overcome understeer, then having diffuclty controlling the rotation, try increasing diff preload (alot) and decreasing the acceleration lock (a little).
Then have a look at suspension settings if needed.

@Slambobagan on a heater this round so hard task to stay on those coat tails
