Hey Div 1 boys, thanks for all the racing in the first two seasons. I've really enjoyed getting to know every one of you...and I've enjoyed every race so far. For some reason or another, I'm just not enjoying GT5 at all and I've decided to withdraw from the season ahead.

If I've completely honest - I'm just not finding the game fun anymore. Simple as that. Without that..there's really no point.

Thanks Outta and MD for putting in a lot of effort. Also to everyone in Div 1 Season 2....it was a pleasure driving with you. You're all a top bunch of guys.

Also good to hear Outta is a certain start. I've received and accepted all the friend requests on PSN today, so should be a good turn out for the first race of the season!

ps. There was a 40MB update when I logged on today, but that shouldn't be a fuss for most of us anyways.

just noticed div 1 has only 6 racers from season 1. Luckily we've recruited new fellas.

Also, shame to see you got Taken, heard good things about you and was looking forward to the tough competition. Completely understand your situation though, maybe we will see you back another season when the bug bites back!.

Quick question guys, how do you know which colour is which because they're not labelled in the lobby?

go to arcade mode or dealership and they have the colours labelled

Yea yea, I know that they may be labelled in the Arcade Mode list, but when you actually go into the online lobby and select "Garage" to fiddle with your car, I can't see the labels, just the colours. Doesn't matter though, not that big a deal.

Race 1 was a thriller is all I can say, Beau and I went at it hammer and tongs, and it got mega close on the last lap where we ran side by side through a few corners. Unfortunately Small_Fryz seemed to be having connection issues, does anyone know if he'll still get a point since he did actually show up?
Beau ultimately took the victory, with myself in 2nd and nasanu in 3rd, *Delete, silly me though 1st place was 10pts and 2nd place 8pts*. I think I got fastest lap of the race for an extra 2pts.

Great race by all tonight by the sounds of the post race chat. Myself and paulie had an epic encounter out front, we switched for the lead multiple times. As usual i took my time getting up to speed and posed no threat for "fastest lap". But in the end i got the win by 1.6 seconds i think. We had an awesome battle for the lead on the final lap especially in sector two where we were door to door through 3 or 4 corners. i must have had better front tyres or something because i was able to dive in under paulie quite easily.

I have some ty news now. I like so many others, have decided to withdraw from league racing. Its simply consuming way to much of my time and putting allot of strain on my relationship. I'm normally a very outdoorsy type of bloke but with so much racing and pre race practice i'm turning into a vegetable. Some of you might say "you don't have to practice so much" but i have a strong "All or nothing" attitude to everything i do in life. I love to win... and absolutely despise losing. I need to put more of my energy into real life activities such as my kart racing and training for the army. Yeah I've applied for army early this year so i need to stay in shape. In a retarded kind of way gt5 has saved my social life. Prior to the release of gt5 i was a chronic COD addict, now i don't play that at all witch is great.

Season one was awesome fun and everyone involved in gtloz seem like the best of blokes. Good luck to all. I would like it to be possible for me to stay on the driver line up for season 3 so as maybe i could compete in the enduro events or something. But thats about all i'd be up for.

......packs wheel into the cupboard......time to spend my weekends doing something a little more relaxing..
