Division 5 Season 5

Yep, I rage quitted. Had to rush to try to get in the room on time. I didnt realise quali had already started didnt have the car set up or on the the right tyres.
Its to early a start for me and I have other commitments rather than having to rush around to play playstation so im out.

So on my first pit I didn't change tire. I pitted the very next lap to change tires. I didn't take on any fuel but I will take a penalty not that it matters as I finished 12th.

I'm not sure how Qual works as my screen said I had the 3rd fastest time and I started 13th. Did I do something wrong??

I changed my tire choice before the race as I saw most were going on hards and I figured I would try something different. I had fun and learnt a lot.

Holy crap what a first race in ROOZ!
Started 9th on the Hards, spun myself L5 i think it was, dropped down to 12th, stuck it out and switched to softs a bit late, hammered it down and made my way up to 4th O.O With a fastest lap i believe! Couldn't be happier with my result

Agolfer, I had a look at the replay and I think that was a race incident. I had half my car beside you so it wasnt a divebomb and I also put my whole car onto the ripple strip to avoid contact. You turned into me because you didnt expect me to be there. It was a pretty aggresive pass though, but I gave you lots of space on the entry and exit. If it looks different on your end its probably lag, Im happy to upload a vid somewhere for protest if there is one. But I dont think Im at fault.

Once we start qualy, you have to stay on track. You can't enter pits, or exit back to lounge (but still stay 'entered' in the race).
Doing this will wipe your time and relegate you to the back.
Also, as long as you ran both tyre compounds, there's no need to give you a post race penalty. You did the right thing in the race to drop back into the pits to swap tyres. Although it doesn't matter when you do it, just that you do.

It would matter when he switched tyres as he started on softs and your only allowed 1 stint on softs. So pitting the very next lap was the right thing to do and more than enough of a penalty in itself.

@CAB77, CAGME is right. But if you started on hards, then I what I said was right

I had a really bad start on hards and had to fight my way to midfield. At one point saw two hto teamates wipe each other out which made me laugh. People pitted and I got up to forth. When I pitted to softs, dropped down to about ninth and had to work my way back up. At no point was the race easy, people fought hard for position and even cars I overtook laps ago came back from the dead and battled me with incredible speed that they didnt have before. At one point I had three cars in my rearview mirror as close as two car lengths which made me sweat because I had to somehow make my car as wide as the road without giving up drafting opportunities while my race softs were turning into confetti. On the last lap I had a good battle with Randm who got me in the end because I messed up a brake point and then missed a gear.

Sure was one hell of a battle mate! Loved racing with the Div 5 boys today, best racing i've ever had!

dive bombing on lap 1 is an absolute NO-NO.. new to rooz or not ..... we both ghosted....luckily but it unsettled me through the corner and I ran wide with a bad entry to the next and again wide on the grass trying to keep pace but around I went and basically race over....Was happy to qualify in P6 with 3 of the 5 in front of me on RS. so my pace was ok...lets hope it doesn't happen again!!!
