It might be good that I'm having a break for a couple of days, my mojo is totally gone. Just ran a 34 lap race 47:02 so an average of 1:23. Fastest lap 1:19.9 and it was the only one under 1:20 Yesterday arvo was banging out consistant low 1:18's
Don't worry about it Motho.....I felt similar yesterday. I did a few quick laps and struggled just to hit 19's, mainly 20's and even a couple of 21's. The same thing happened when I was practising for Fuji as well, and that turned out OK. As long as you're practising your markers and race line the rest will come. It will also be different on the night as it is unlikely drivers will be hitting any PB's with other cars on track slowing them down (particularly on this track where there isn't alot of room to overtake). Plus, I think the online physics are different on a Thursday
Yeah it was weird, was like everything was in slow motion, felt smooth, regular lines etc just no speed. come to think of it I'll bet I'm down on HP and need an oil change same as towards the end of last week. (I hope that's it anyway)
Bit of discussion out the back , and by various members, that this weeks round should be postponed for a week due to mothers day on sunday, and quite a few drivers unavailable because of it. We are looking to postpone for 1 week, we will make a decision by tonight after a few of the mods are spoken to. Stay tuned.
Any interest in a Div 5 and 6 combined practice race for Sunday night for those that still want to run? I know I need the in race practice more than just "doing laps". and i figure if we can get 6 or 8 from just div 5 and 6 it would still be a good competative race Same times for practice, qual, race etc as normal race
More the merrier I say. I only thought 5 and 6 if there was enough interest as it would keep the racing closer Maybe a few 5 or 10 lappers would give better practice of starts and keep the packs tighter
Guys, just confirming that tonight's round has been postponed to next week due to the high number of drivers unavailable. Clevo has updated the opening post to also include a bye on the June long weekend where a lot of people are away and able to race. Cheers mod-team
