What an awesome sprint round Happy to see a decent turn out and some fantastic racing up front! Qualifying: Had a decent qualifying and put in my first 17 (ever) with a 17:444 to put me second on the grid behind @mmm_homebrew who again smashes pole Races: First race was all about the jump and I got such a good one that I eased past homebrew into T1! We were soon joined by @agolfer78 and it became a battle....between them. I ran away with it as the battled before agolfer spun out into the pack on the final corner (unlucky mate). Set Fastest lap with a 17.199 and got my first ever Rooz race win Second Race was going to be difficult coming from the back. Another good start really helped me along to 7th after the first corner. From there I fought through the pack until reaching the top 4 with agolfer, @Cyberstig1 and homebrew. WE had a good scrap for a while especially cyber and I before i prevailed and all seemed set up for back to back race wins. I crossed the line in first (after my heart skipping a beat and going off at the last turn) but then quickly realised I couldnt see @LITTLEBLACKO942 and he had won Well done Blacko, Homebrew, @PharQ and Cyber on podium! Nurb next weekend! Good thing I love this track
Good win Viper, a good points haul for NLR in the last couple weeks. As predicted by me a return to dry racing saw my true form return frustratingly spinning in both races at the final turn. Contact with @ikilledskippy in race 2 was dissapointing as my main goal was to keep it clean in the reverse grid. Im going to look at the replay later today but I dont think it looks good on my part, so apologies to you. Also good win to @LITTLEBLACKO942, nice drive. Over 20ks of race track I dont this week so lots of practice for me.
Same. Well in race 1 he was parked up on the inside of corner before the tunnel from my POV...kept going around him thinking why not park it a little off track lol Got DSC from server after race one finished, so no replay for me. Turning up to race one just as the timer started counting down...The End. Race two was hard, skill level being low...everything felt cluttered...and on that corner before the tunnel got rear ended and just decided in the moment that my lack of skill was partially to blame on that one so fell back. I felt more comfortable in the wet with this car. Barely rating above the Camaro of seasons past imo...though lets not blame the car just yet lol
Race 1, Homebrew had pole (I think) someone correct me if i'm wrong) Race 2. Don't have fastest laps for either but can get them, Blacko disappeared off my screen about 6 laps into race 2 but he did win
Race 1 lap times Race 2, BLACKO's lap best lap time was an 1.18.177 before he somehow disappeared from the race for me on lap 5, but that lap time could of changed
fl time for littleblack was correct [1.18.177] with an overall time for race 2 of 21.15.675 [ 0.492 in front of viperzed ] after setting a qual time of 1.17.063 i just could'nt seem to settle and do a clean lap all race well done to viperzed, littleblack, 'q and cyber for podium spots. special note to littleblack for the run on lap 10 of race 2, 2 wide through turn 1 and all the way to the tunnel, great racing m8
