Did the practice times count towards grid order ? I most likely wrong but were the drivers not in Purps screenshot list above the ones who got stuck in the pits ?
Bugger. Not a great start for div7. Hopefully you guys have a better round 2, cause by the looks of the other divs the big rooms were enjoyed by all.
Haven't forgotten guys, just got tied up last night, will endeavor to have results on here tonight. @emmo46
@emmo46 I missed the DSC'd guys fastest laps, I will get them for you tomorrow. Results: 1st Castrofriendche 2:01.303 (pole) 2nd Bevo17 2:00.818 3rd purpledog 2:01.152 4th Stigsoxcousin 2:03.461 5th (pit glitch affected drivers) Sooby 2:00.571 (fastest lap) clevohead 2:10.991 colin 2:08.983 Littleblacko932 2:05.344 xgregoryx 2:04.754 6th Koka68-68 DSC 7th Maximuscatticus DSC
I didn't think you was 6th @scottb721 , Castro got pole, and you got fastest lap for the race. All drivers who were stuck in the pits get the points that would normally be allocated to 5th place, so 11 points each, and you @scottb721 get 1 extra point for fastest lap. Then the guys who disconnected get placing in order of disconnect.
@emmo46 you have mixed up littleblacko with foreversideways, as you can see in the above pic. foreverside... wasn't there, littleblacko was.
@Clevohead I was referring to my starting spot rather than my finish. Did a really good time, almost pole I thought, but started amongst the RH runners.
Castro was pole in my replay, and that is all I had to go off, as I was just mean't to be driving this season, so I wasn't recording pole and qual lap during qualifier. Sorry.
Yeah qualifying must of been glitched, it said I got 4th or something but I started in the 2nd last row
Ok guys...couple of things.... 1. I have adjusted the race distance back to 31 laps. 34 was a little long and having it at 31 means its close to 50 mins. 2. After doing a few prac races last night, this will be a bloody tough round, and the walls dont give much room if anybody ballses something up.....The kink in the front straight is tough (almost impossible actually) to get past through side by side so i am going to adopt a policy of "the car in front has the line" through there (like the chase at Bathurst). This will be a defining factor if i need to look at any protests at that part of the track. There is a much greater chance here of rear ending the car in front given brake markers are hidden due to the nature of the street circuit.....please drive with that in mind and watch for the concertina effect at turn 1 on the opening lap, dive bombing will end in tears....likewise if you bounce off a wall be careful rejoining and watch how much you defend against a closing car. Cheers Stu
Thanks Clevo, I think I must have got cross eyed when adding the data and put it in a line up or down. I will post the revised chart tonight.
