can't get over how tight qualifying was. Pole was a 3 flat and after seeing myself drop to last frrom 4th with a 3.5, i managed to squeeze in a 3.2 which only netted me 6th. Field was soo tight which translated into the race that even if you made just a teeny weeny mistake, you would find yourself dropped back and difficult to regain ground.
^ LOL I was actually a little disappointed not to be closer to the front, I thought I was at least matching your pace in the early laps and I know I was just a leetle bit quicker in the later laps as I was closing the gap to the lead (albeit from 6th spot!). Too many little errors here and there and it wasn't long before you guys came up behind me. Couldn't keep it 100% straight when needed, just pushing pushing pushing
Pole and FL get awarded after the positions have been decided by adding full points from race one to 1/2 points to race two to get the overall positions for the night.
^ what emmo said. So Bob you would get 20 points for the 2nd overall, plus 1 bonus for the pole plus 1 bonus for the overall Fastest lap (your race 1 FL was faster than my Race 2 FL). So you get 22 points this round.
Pretty sure I just need to stop getting bumped off track/into a wall and having to make my way through the field from last position like in every race so far this season.
