My opinion is if someone misses the start that's unlucky for them, should have been paying attention. So long as we have a uniform approach and a clear instruction on when to GO GO GO then this will work ok. Happy to test it with you guys tonight
If the leader takes off from the exit of final turn, the guys in 4th down are massively disadvantaged as they wont be able to accelerate as they will be mid corner. V8 supercar style and pick a point on the grid wall 100m from start line and take off from there.
We had grid starts all last season with GT3 RUF? It worked fine. I don't really care anyway, rolling start helps my car and when everyone bashes into me it's like Mario Kart but I'm Bowser and everyone else are Toadies.
Automatic Rolling starts in PCars are broken, robbed me of a front row start when accidentally put on in the Sunday League and took me from 9th to 3rd on the grid in HTO on Sunday.... Grid starts work fine for GT3's but this does not exist in the real world..... so depends if Vardz is going for realism or not
Don't want to sound like a pain but trying to do it our self's can course more problems the any anything else , I've been there done that , had to restart room's , before you know it there's half an hour gone stuffing around . I think just put up with what we have , or standing starts . I've done this with other group's , and it never work's .
Not exactly sure what's going on, but what about F1 style safety car restarts? Pole dictates the pace, and a pre-designated spot where overtaking is permitted.
I have had same issue, I have read about it on some other forums, random button presses are coming from the wheel not the game as I understand, there is a remedy I believe. I will find it as I have been meaning to find it for my own concerns.
