I think groover should race with you guys hahaha... he did a 51 too lol Team RJN is dominating. Well done guys. Looks like cars are quite evenly matched, at least at Motegi!
That lived up to expectations. Really close racing. Made up a few spots of the grid after a dismal qually, only to have a massive spin in the middle sector in the opening laps which sealed my fate and ran at the back hoping for other's mistakes to bring the field back to me. When Musta pitted at the 20 min mark I knew I had one place made up as a one stopper was definitely the way to go. Razor eventually fell back to within sight before the halfway point so I tried the under cut and pitted what ended up being two laps earlier and when he came out of pit lane I just snuck infront. But a few minor mistakes saw him get in front and from there it was a see saw as he got away and fell back. Great racing at times nose to tail and side by side. Damn I wish the M3 had just a little more bhp. That was one wide RX-7. Ended up 10th and last on track but musta dc'd sometime after the halfway point so yay I wasn't last.
If someone can post the lap times I'll do a combined chart. So far the Bronze aand Copper rooms are very evenly mixed with a Copper driver in front. It mirrors the Season 5 situation.
Completely forgot about the race untill fastboy sent me a message before qually, green as hell I managed to get into Q2 and had a very good start and managed to be 3rd in the leading pack for the first couple of laps, then Fastboy made an error and I couldn't miss him and went off the road and that sent me 2nd last, then after that error after error, and with no strategy planned I stopped around the 20min mark thinking of a 2 stopper, would of been okay if I didn't spin out as I would of been much closer to N64 and Rotor but ended up roughly where I was when I pitted right infront of TB. Then a couple of laps later my internet it self. Good series though, hopefully in free next sunday ill try get some more practise in advance.
I can still join Ur team factory? Do I need to change car? Great race that was marred initially by a lag punt to rotor, delivered by myself. Sorry mate. After that I remained cautious about following mint too closely when his tires started degrading at the end of the first stint. My car was not competitive on the straights and at times I was helpless in maintaining a manageable gap to mint, especially at the start of the 2nd stint. I made an error positioning the car too wide in the approach to the last chicane, getting caught up in a rumble strip causing a weird unexpected snap of the rear. Losing 2 secs and any hope of fighting for the victory. all in all a highly enjoyable experience, even without the influence of ecstasy. Lol.
Coasted, gave it one final crack as I closed the gap to about 2 secs to an ailing mint. But fluffed up a hairpin and bailed out.
