Yer we did ok this week, only Neishy and my self have points that go to team championship (wish we had Straty in there) and we got 8th this week. That gives us 13th position in the team championship this season, not tooo bad, could have been a lot higher if i had have pulled my finger out and improved as much as Neishy did this season. Well done Neishy great season and you got the Div 3 champion trophy. Was great to have Stratty run with us this seasaon, great guy and a good laugh, made practice sessions a lot of fun and a good learning experience. He attracted the attention of every Iracer in the V8's and as a results has had some great offers to join some top teams. He will only get better with the backing of a top team and we look forward to seeing him battling it out (and winning) with the big boys next season, and him continuing his association with us in the odd practice session and on team speak. I will be catching up with him in person in a few weeks to have a karting session, looking forward to kicking his ass (i know the slow Kart and he will be in that) and having a few beers. Any how great V8 season guys loved all the practice session we had and had lots of great racing. Hope to get myself up to speed for next season (hope the new tire model isn't to big a change) and will sort out the Teams when I know who will be racing the V8 with us. Enforcer has got the pace up now and will be in the top team, just got to get (and keep) your Irating up and you will be running in the higher splits. Will discuss the Bathurst stuff when it is a bit closer Jamie.
Wow great result guys, congrats Neishy very well done mate. Although I only made a couple of prac sessions at the end there, I totally agree. Look forward to seeing Straty do well at the pointy end next season.
Tell me about it, I was 4+ seconds off the pace of the world record time and I have put in many hours on the v8. As a test I threw the Ford GT and Lotus 79 (cars I have practically never driver) around Suzuka GP, within ~5 laps I am within 4-5 seconds of world record times (for this season), with plenty of obvious areas to pick up time. In the star mazda (a car I have spent most of my time in) I am normally ~.5-1.5 seconds off the world record time. Just something weird about the V8... hopefully the new tyre model will help.
Could make Teams 1 & 2 use Frank's new design and the 3rd team could be the Dev team using the S1 design by Adam Maxwell (thepaintbooth.com). What does everyone think?

I am actually really good mates with one of the mechanics at 888 racing and he is going to start helping me set the sim car up and how everything actually works with the v8. He has been setting up craig lowends actual race car for 3 years. I am more than happy to share the setups and get him to help the team in any way possible when he has spare time.

You can stay in Blue if you want to, the teams are just named in colour just to not have it as number one team number 2 team etc, as we will prob have the teams a mixture of talent speed so we will be competing with each other as well. You can head up othe Blue team if thaats the way you guys think it should go. Up fpr suggestions super strong team or 2 top drivers in each team with support from 2 other drivers
