LOL! The only laps I've done at RA is whatever we ran during the meet and greet! 5 laps? I still don't even know the track properly!
One thing I found is you need to be relaxed when in the race and qualifying . After watching the Sandown 500 last weekend I thought "These guy's look so relaxed on the in car camera and there cranking out good time's" So I decided to take that approach , since then , my time's have been great and qualifying has been a lot easier . try and give it a go , your time's will drop like a house of card's .
A bit late sorry. Have guests over. Here is my RUF setup that i hope will suffice. Again you will probably have to tinker with the tire pressure and aero for Road America. But the spring and anti roll bar setup i feel is quite balanced. Also a 2.05 seems stupidly fast. Going off last weeks little race there. All i will say is i thought a 2.07 was quick. I guess if i had practice maybe i could go that low? Who knows. Maybe my setup sucks for this track lol. Anyway we'll find out Sunday night. See ya then!
Well guys the votes are in and it's a majority for an earlier start. 51% yes 49% no response. It was enough to get Abbott out and Turnbull in so that's enough for me... @Giant slayer we will try 7:00pm room opening this week to see how it goes. All the rest of the times as per normal (1hr practice, 15 min qualify). Hope this works ok.
If quali is starting at 8pm, then expect me to miss a little bit of Qualifying.... its alright, it will only be for this week but could i please get someone to send me invites as soon as quali starts, and also half way through? No guarentee's when i'll be able to make it in
The invites will all go out as the room opens. That way when you log on you will get the invite. Just don't accept the invite until the game has fully loaded up.
They do after an hour , killer send me one an hour before I got online ,I tried to use it but it said it had expired .
I'm happy to start earlier as it does not affect me in anyway But on saying that I do think it's a little bit ridiculous compensating for one individual but as long as it doesn't put out anyone else I don't see a problem with it let's just hope that everyone gets the notice before it's too late @fubbles888 you better make sure you show up Boooooo go away What is it .......ridiculous request week or something And while we are on request Can everyone please remain behind me at all times come Sunday night
Bump? Felt like i got hit by a missile All good, very, very easy to miss a brake marker at road america Disappointing race for me ( Even if the race is still going, i've just parked the car behind a tyre wall! ) I had no pace in quali simply down to lack of practise because of the GT6 Endurance Series i compete in, and well, the race didn't have high hopes, first lap made a few spots from people tangling, saw a gap up the inside of cob, he shut the door when i was already there, little bump, and then what felt like he pitted me down the straight.... of course need to see a replay, but otherwise, no practise, no pace, no luck for bobo this week! Onto the next where i should be back to Zolder form See you guys there!
