I ran your setup as well for a prac night and i was much harder on tires than my tune. It was a little faster, but much looser so reverted back to mine.
And did you not say you pushed like hell last night after getting a drive through, and coming back through the field? That kills them too. Ask cob, had a crap qual, started near the back and with all the fighting he did to come through was much harder on his tires than he normally is.
No actually if i pushed hard or went slow it didn't matter i was holding beau up and the start going a good 1.5 secs off our fast race pace trying to save them and it didn't help, went hell for leather after my pitstop and only went down too 49% on the left front
I also found that running off line is harder on the tires too. I tried some prac running wider through the last right hander and wear was considerably higher than when I stayed in the middle / right hand side of the road. Drive like me with my handbag on the passenger seat and see what happens Bottom line is, the regs won't be changing unless one of the updates makes a clear change to the way the tires react.
I had 10% left on my front left at the finish , but I was pushing all the way . Think I need to find a good setting to get faster .
I have only done the GT6 results and Ladder, PCars does Matter and if no none of the Pcars guys update it I will gather the info and create the entries. Some one from PCars was doing it last season, not sure who it was.
