I need to update the thread but I think there is 2 of each class, not that it worries me, we have a solid balance now, if anything id like to see a few more GT1 entries,
Gentlemen, I have updated the entire OP, there will be 3 classes, LMP2, GT1 and GT4, I have removed the limits on classes as we have a good balance between LMP2 and GT4, this means that the remaining 4 drivers yet to select a car are free to go wherever they please, All pages in the OP have now been updated, We are currently full and only open to reserves in the event some cant make it at late notice, I will put another sign up sheet here clarifying everyone' availability, Thankyou,
I have to pull out, the internet is too slow and puts others at risk. Hopefully theres heaps of reserve's!
are you sure mate, I'm under the belief instability in lobbies is caused by people joining once the session has started, the session will be put on hold until all confirmed entries are in the lobby,
What router are you using? What type of Internet are you using (ADSL ADSL2+ fibre)? For a quick boost in your router speed, jump on the pc and log in to your router. Shut off the firewall for the port your ps4 is plugged in to. If it is at all possible, switch off wifi while you are racing. It is very important for your speed to have sole use of the Internet. If that is not possible, you need to ask others not to watch or upload any videos, download updates, or add photos to sookbook or other social media. These will definitely cause lag. A 5 minute power off of the router (power cord unplugged also) works similar to clearing the cache on the consoles and can clear up some extra room on the router.
At spa no one in our lobby was lagging at all and we made sure that no one used the party chat so I suggest we just make sure no one's using party chat instead of game chat
Had a few practice races with some friends tonight with GT4 cars on full damage , I must say I'm very happy with the Mustang , she just hang's in there on GT4 softs and can handle the odd over rev on the down change . Looking forward to Friday night .
The router is most likely your problem. The ones the phone companies supply are very basic and not suited to gaming. You can pick up brand new TP-LINK routers from eBay for $50 will improve your connection immeasurably. I had the Telstra technicolor POS and it caused nothing but issues. Paid twice as much as the TP-LINK for it too. Highly recommended upgrade.
