    Did full wet race last night with fog and car was ok to drive on sports softs and the one set of sports softs idea per race is good for me

    Round 1: Autodromo Nazionale Monza 80's - 24 laps - 24/7
    Round 2: Circuito de la Sierra - 4 laps - 31/7
    Round 3: Red Bull Ring Short (Sprint) - 2 x 24 laps - 7/8
    Round 4: Apricot Hill Raceway Reverse (Night/Weather) - 30 laps - 14/8
    Round 5: Ascari (Enduro) - 42 laps - 21/8
    Round 6: Circuito di Roma - 35 laps - 28/8
    Round 7: Daytona International Road Course - 23 laps - 4/9

    Room Settings
    Weather: 0% (100% for Round 4)
    Surface Water at Race Start: 0% (50% for Round 4)
    Time: 12:00 (23:50 for Round 4)
    Weather Changeability: Fixed

    Just some general points for our first race at monza 80's on Sunday.
    Obviously it is easy to accidentally cut some of the corners, but the 2 wheels on the ripple strip still applies. Anyone caught cutting or running wide consistently will be penalised.
    Be especially careful on the exit of the final chicane as the ripple strip ends but the tarmac keeps going. You should be back to having 2 wheels on the line once the ripple strip ends.
    Don't cut the pit entry/exit lines.
    Be careful rejoining after an off. Just because you rejoin off the racing line, does not mean you won't get cleaned up by another car attempting an overtake or running wide not on the racing line.
    We had an incident in practice where someone was rejoining after sliding off parabolic (final turn) and someone else was wide on exit but still on track and they collided.

    At least 1 incident in recent practice races makes me feel it is also important for people to understand the difference between a legitimate overtaking maneuver and a dive bomb.
    At Monza, we pretty much have to live with the fact that it is going to be difficult to overtake someone unless they make a mistake. If you are not right along side, on the inside entering a braking zone, you need to back out. At this track, chances are you will know pretty early on one of the straights if you will have the car speed to get along side before the braking zone.

    Qualified in the top half which I was happy with, got a cracking start, but in the early laps dropped a wheel under brakes into T1 and hit the block, then ran wide soon after at parabolica and got in @incey 's way (sorry). Set off in damage control and picked off those who had offs. Ran until lap 19 on softs and then was rapidly catching @Luckgoesmyway on the mediums but needed another lap.
    @Viperzed did you only fill the suggested fuel load when you stopped?

    Glad to see my GRT boys are up the front, although Liam you're getting shot at dawn for running out of fuel... Though putting in suggested fuel should have seen him make it, bizarre.
