Rhino, it isn't a case of not being able to drive the car, not in my case anyway, I can turn some good laps in the thing. So don't just assume that's why people don't like it. You can drive a car and still not enjoy it at the same time.
I find the V8SC pretty similar to the sierra in the way you have to drive it, slow in to set it up then drive it out. Just gotta be a little steadier on the throttle, and a bit earlier on the brakes. The open wheelers are a bit too hectic for my liking, and take a bit of a brain adjustment for braking and corner speeds. In saying that though we had a pretty cool season in the formula b's so it's not impossible. I'll race whatever, I'll just be better at some than the others lol.
sorry i didnt make it on last night lads....hope to get there tonight. At this stage the discussion is about announcing the next 2 season cars, the V8 and the formula Gulf. I have been and had a look on the PCARS 2 forums and i cant see anywhere the V8 is even listed as available. IF we run the V8 this season, i am thinking the formula gulf (or similar open wheeler) WILL be the car the following season. Both have well and truly in the mix for selection for the last few seasons.... It will make the selection for PCARS 2 (assuming it hits when scheduled) a little easier then as will be a tin top of some sort, either road car or race car.....there have been a lot of cars added to the list that could / should make for a great season later in the year. Check out these links for what we have available to us later in the year...... https://www.gtplanet.net/a-quartet-of-godzillas-is-coming-to-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/jaguar-xjr-9-imola-circuit-coming-to-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/the-circuit-of-the-americas-is-coming-to-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/interlagos-coming-to-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/project-ca...etta-g57-p2-jaguar-f-type-svr-mclaren-p1-gtr/ https://www.gtplanet.net/project-cars-2-car-list-update-classic-nissan-racers-ford-gt-lm-more/ https://www.gtplanet.net/watch-a-corvette-c7r-lap-fuji-in-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/the-brand-new-mclaren-720s-is-coming-to-project-cars-2/ https://www.gtplanet.net/new-detail...manual-pit-stops-multi-class-racing-and-more/ Then add in these features ..... https://www.gtplanet.net/project-cars-2s-new-online-championship-mode-detailed/ https://www.gtplanet.net/driver-rating-system-to-be-included-in-project-cars-2/ and Dynamic Weather i know we are looking a fair way ahead, but if we go down this path then at least we all know whats coming and will make Ads and my job a hell of a lot easier... Hope to get on tonight for some more testing so we can get this sorted , advertised and organized ! Stu
Apparently it will be the official indycar game ( I read don't know if confirmed) just putting it out now indycar season with some oval races would be great
Had a good fang around in the Formula B, it is a handful when the tires are cold but once they warm up it's a hoot. I was finding the Formula Gulf to be a bit unstable on entry into slower corners (at least with the default setup) which could cause an issue when racing closely to others online.
will get in and test a couple of the open wheelers again tonight if keen for a fang around.....i found one of them the other night (Fb or c) a real handful off the curbs......
Yeah that was the FB at all Barcelona. It depends on the circuit though, some you can use the curb and some you can't (like the Sierra).
Would be better for everyone if we used the v8 for the next season, it's similar to the sierra and should be a easy transition.
Yeah I think I agree. If we're definitely doing two more seasons I'd be happy for the V8SC to come first.
