DRIVER'S BRIEFING: Singapore



The last street circuit on the calendar, this will be a very tough race on both drivers and the cars.

Being a street circuit, it is advised you take extra care when overtaking or engaging in a battle on track. Please adjust your braking points accordingly for the first lap, as we don't want a repeat of last week.

Make sure you enter the pits as defined by the white lines, coming in at full speed by swinging into it is not allowed. Unless there is a safety car brought out, only then is cutting across the kerbs àla Seb Vettel permitted.

Remember if you decide to quit the race without retiring first, you will be hit with penalty points.

I cannot make the race tonight due to work however i'm still available at the moment for future races

unfortunately i wont be able to make tonight lads have a good race, and KEEP IT CLEAN!

Just a heads up:
In a Quick Race just then, i totalled my car by hitting an invisible wall on the wall to the left inbetween the old singapore sling and between T11. Replay showed i was close, but not touching the wall at all, yet the game still thought it was a Contact.
Just a heads up not to get too friendly with that wall on Turn-in to 11.

I don't usually take turn 10 slow enough go too close to that wall. For me the most dangerous point has to be the kink to the right coming off of Anderson bridge before turn 13, especially if the car is a bit loose out of 12.

lol ive had it quite sideways between 12 & 13, feels good when you catch it.

Yeah theres plenty of different lines through 10-13. I take the sling not as quick as others but open up 11-12 for a better run into the Hairpin. Something to watch out for when following other cars.

@Kiefer Hopkins will be replacing @Zachery in a Red Bull tonight.

YOU MUST use the same tyres you qualified on. Changes will result in a 60 second penalty.

1st place do a fast lap, then we'll have to go out in order and make sure we go slower than the last guy

If we stay bunched together to start the lap, the leaders than accerlerate at approx 5 second intervals. Important to stay bunched at start though.

I think giving everyone a set time is less comfusing and harder to stuff up
