Qualifying 7th I knew I had a long hard race ahead and just wanted to keep it cool, calm and collected so I don't hit those sneaky blades of grass. Within a couple of laps though, was back to 14th, and felt pretty much off pace and out of sync with everyone. So I carried on, and stuck with my planned pitting and tyre strategy (10 x softs, 10 x mediums, 8/7 stints on softs at the end) - and this seemed to work, Managed to make my way back up the pack through my pitting strat - only actually over taking a few people on the track throughout the race.

I know I had a good couple of side by sides with some of you guys during the race, I just can't think of any names that standout lol - I'll have to watch the replay.

thanks for the invite last night, it was my first race ever & I didn't realise I had to hold the brake on the start (was thinking it was the same as campaign mode)
Anyway, 1 crash and didn't know how to fix the car during a pit stop! haha so hobbled around another lap returning to fix it.
So finished a bit over 1 lap behind. A bit of fun!

That's good mate, having fun is what we like to do Glad you enjoyed it. A bit more time on track and practice with some other guys and you'll pick it up. I generally run a practice night on the Thursday before hand of the next track - of which is Red Bull Ring - and we generally knock about with 5-10 lap races etc. Might see you on then.
