Maybe save that until whichever season fall on the anniversary of his departure to better race tracks in the skies.

I was thinking that too, if a season runs during June, do you know what his favourite Gran Turismo tracks were @t_b_williams? He would have loved Sierra.

other than Bathurst, not entirely sure. He would just rock up and race anything anywhere. Part of what made the man great.
Bathurst would have to be a must though. Maybe a dirt track as well. and Eiger variant maybe.

A few scratches and paint strips here and there, but for $1500 you can't complain.

Good choice, jono I still have a 1998 version that I bought new that only gets driven about 4-5 times a year, just hanging on to it for the kids first car now, it has been rock solid reliable and handles like a cat on Velcro (with tien springs in and 17" wheels off the neighbours wrx). Just make sure the timing belt has been changed on or before 100,000 km's, this is the only thing you need to worry about with a Subaru, if the timing belt let's go it instantly lunches the engine and you're screwed. Enjoy,
    Cheers

    Thanks mate.
Yeah, I believe the timing belt has been changed, though I'm going to change it again once the car hits 300,000 km's. I've only had to get the starter motor replaced, it was rusted to the core, so I'm lucky it didn't result in damage to the flywheel or any elements of the car. It certainly does handle well, and it makes driving in the rain much easier with the perfect traction! AWD is amazing.
