Expected driving standards
http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/the-rooz-guide-to-courteous-driving.3993/
Race Start times
Qualifying will start at 9:15pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time) and after daylight savings will move forward to 8:45pm (AEST) All qualifying sessions will be 10 minutes long (This has been changed to 15 minutes for all rounds except the 2x30 sprints which will stay 2x 10 qualy sessions) an open Practice session will begin 45 minutes before qualifying starts at 8:30 and 8pm once daylight savings ends.
Servers
To find servers best to type in ROOZ in the server lobby, all private/password servers don't show in the lobby unless searched for and our public servers unless busy wont show in lobby most likely either. All password protected servers have password "season2" all public servers have fairly strict entry requirements but all ROOZ members are whitelisted into this even if their ratings arent at that level yet.
We currently have 9 servers up, 4 Australian servers in Sydney S1-S4 and S5-S9 in Singapore which are better for general public open server racing as ACC has no ping limits and this will make europeans have more reasonable pings then the Aussie one.
- Server 1: is the Monday race server and non race nights will be setup for the next round, this is locked entry to only those entered in the season. Any new entries should make sure they can get into this server before their first Monday race.
- Server 2: Is the Wednesday sprint server, its password protected but open to all on a Wednesday, all other days it will be setup in Sprint format for the next Monday track.
- Server 3: is the Current Monday round static hotlap server.
- Server 4: is the league Qualifying server at Kyalami.
- Servers 5-7 are general public servers hosted in singapore. If anyone wants a specific combo here just PM @marty @Rolz or @Godzilla
- Server 8 is a static wet practice server in the next Monday combo.
- Server 9 is a sprints session public server in the next Monday combo.
Solo drivers or Team entries
The season can be run as a solo entry or people can combine as a team of 2 for any rounds if they don't want to do full distance races on their own. You can run solo or as a team assuming driver swaps are now fully league ready. To allow for team entries this may need to be only between drivers in the same class to keep class scoring fairer for all, car selection is forced for the season by the car anyone starts their first official race in. For teams it may be best for anyone wanting to team up for any races to select the same car but otherwise teams car will be forced by the driver ranked higher in the season standings for the round they are teamed up.

The season will be a fixed car season, you are free to choose any car but the car you start your first official Monday round will be yours for the entire season.
HOW TO JOIN THIS SEASON
When entering give us the name you want to race under and your 3 letter code for the car display. This will help create the entry list and everyone can help associate forum and in game names, as in example below. Also pick a race number that isn't already in use by someone here between 1 and 999.
"firstName":"Marty",
"lastName":"Cerven",
"shortName":"CER",
# 123
Set a qualifying lap in RaceOnOZ server 4 Official League Qualifying server.
Post your Steam GUID in this thread
Current password for all league servers is "season2"
NEW Entries Close strictly at 6:30pm AEDT on each race night.
Any entries after this are accepted for the following round. The race server will be passworded with a locked entry list so anyone not on the entry list wont get in even with the password. To be entered in for the season you must enter in this thread, provide a GUID in the relevant thread and also set a qualy lap in the league qualy server prior to 6:30pm on the Monday race night.
FULL FORMATION LAP MANUAL START PROCEDURE
After testing the full formation manual start procedure on Wednesdays warm up races these turned out pretty good and easily manageable, ideally everyone will join the discord channel for race nights to hear any directions regarding the race start.
The general rule will be to start single file and follow the leader, you can weave and warm your tyres up here but be aware of cars ahead and behind at all times. Do your best to avoid causing any issues for others, then the second last corner of the track start to line up double file (may change for some tracks and be in that rounds thread)
Everyone should be in formation by the time the field makes it around the last turn and cars on the main straight should maintain 80kmh until the green light is given.
Anyone going considerably early enough to gain an advantage here may be given a post race time penalty. Cars behind the leader aren't allowed to back up and then anticipate the green to get an unfair run on the cars ahead of them. Same with front row cars they arent allowed to accelerate before the lights are green.
Protests and Penalties.
For any official protests post race please see this thread for info on how to lodge a protest. This is not to be done in the race threads.
Qualifying Server
There will again be a qualifying server to determine individual driver classes, this is at a Kyalami with more details in this thread
ALL new season entries must set a time in the server before they will be able to race on Mondays, this will need to be done by 7pm AEST on a Monday if you want to run that round.
All current season entries that have had round starts will need to set a lap time before rnd 9, they will not be allowed to enter the server on Monday race nights until they set a time after this.
