    I see on Assetto-DB.com there is a race spec Land Rover Defender SWB mod. Could be fun amyone tried it? @Cherno @Driftoz @Tovey_4saken you guys have isually tried everything... ;p

    Abort abort. It's FUBAR. :thumbsdown:
    Engine explodes instantly if you give it full revs. Weird drive train physics and cameras. I got round one turn and uninstalled.

    When i first read it I thought so too but after one of the dev's explained it a bit more it makes sense..Basically the site was meant to only be for reporting bugs and sharing knowledge on how to 3d model and make skins so on,but it turned into this big mess of a community where good info was being lost by wip threads that never see the light of day also people charging money or talking about other games so on.

    They are only removing the download links to keep away the bad mojo of legal action (would be 505 games making sure nothing hunts for kunos when they go console) so by doing this all the illegal track's don't get traced back to them

    (say kunos went to bathurst for a licence but the owner said no because he wasn't pleased about a poor ripped version already being available and linked to kunos would never happen but is possible) also if they clean it up we will have the information needed only for modding and more chances to speak to devs about the engine sooo much info is still unknown.

    Stefeno (Lead coder/founder) hopes to create a separate site in the future for modders to showcase there work and have all the wip threads on there but leave the main site for bug fixing and guides for modding AC and one to one communication modder to dev

    Interesting timing if its for the reasons stated above isnt it? imo they dont want mods on the official forums when the console release drops because console players will complain that content on the ac forums isnt available to them. Lets not forget there is official content in the game now that was born in those mod sections (zandvoort, r34, cobra, audi quattro).

    I agree I can totally see where they are coming from. They have legal obligations and ultimately can focus more on their own quality development instead if managing a sprawling mods dl section of questionable legitamacy. They also will know mod downloads are now well catered for elsewhere like RD, out of their responsibility and not bound by the same obligations. So giving time for modders to relocate their work (many mods of which are on AC and other sites aleady) really I dont see there's any loss. Hopefully a positive move in terms of AC devs productivity and official content for us!

    Dspec '69 Camaro, R32 and RX8 rotary comp I have tried so far are awesome fun :D Cheers for the tip @Tovey_4saken
    Had to turn the FFB on the Camaro & R32 waaaay down to stop clipping. ~65%.

    Your Redbull track and weather mod is nice work, be really nice if we had proper headlights to see where we are going!
    Are there any wet weather mods you would recommend?

    This Project Touge track is a fun environment for a casual cruise and linking corners.

    Battersea is fun in the Rally Legends cars cheers @Cherno

    No track TV cameras for replays on either of those tracks though. But the car cameras and manual cameras work.
