    Test the car before you vote !

    Have added in the Nissan GTR Black Edition '12 as used in the GT Academy.

    Tracks will be selected once the car has been chosen. Hopefully the pit stop glitch will have been fixed by then so we can adjust tires and wear accordingly.

    Not sure how much use the GT-R will be for GT Academy though, the time trials are supposed to start sometime in April so that means the live events should be all done by then which is likely to mean they will be done before this season starts.

    Interestingly enough I was reading through the GT Academy T & C attachment and it shows the live qualifiers is on till 30 June 2014?!
    So I guess that gives the guys who don't make it through the online a second chance. So the GT-R is a possibility for season 2 but I am with Mustafur though, unless we do a decent race around Silverstone International not sure how much it will help.

    Good selection of cars though for season 2, had a toss up between two of them but finally picked the McLaren in the end because I am a sucker for a good race car :)

    I also went the McLaren F1.....so nice to drive.

    As for GT academy, perhaps I'm too much of a realist but a lowly Div 4 driver has no chance at winning the GT academy, let alone getting beyond qualifying so I'm not basing my choice on using a car to practice in for the online qualifier....

    I am a bit of a fan of the race cars as well, but I have to say some of our best races and seasons have been In road cars. The G37 and mclaren seasons had some great racing in all divs.

    i moved on..but damn it was fun!
    Have not made my choice yet but drove some of the cars last night at Silverstone just get a reference from the BRZ.
    a) Mclaren F1(RH tyres) - Fast but did not like it at all? - need to try this again and see why it has so many votes.
    b) 458(SH tyres) - nope it felt terrible.
    c) SLS GT3 (RH tyres) - Felt fantastic and was clocking 2.02's
    I had trouble locating a "base model" of the Merc?

    Yeah, when you buy it, it's like a base model, but doesn't say Base Model in the description.

    Hmm, cant put a number on it???

    Some strange stuff going on. I went to buy the BMW and it wasn't there??
    Bought the M3 GT '11, and when I went back into the BMW dealership, the Base Model was there.

    Is the same thing happening to me with the Merc, no base model available???

    getting the same thing mate. BMW base model only shows up after buying the race car.
    Doesn't work for the merc though.
