New runners don't count i think and i would just split them into there individual rooms. And also sorry for the slight bump into the wall emmo, didn't mean to, got on to the power a bit early
There was bump into the wall??, I had so many contacts with the wall I didn't even notice I'd been hit. Now I'm really pissed off.
There were only two room 1 runners, I haven't put in pole points for room 1 or fastest lap points for either room yet, will look at that after. It won't effect the positions though. I will put the tables up now, Grats to Anon and Mint.
Well done to all last night, tough car/track combo so there was bound to be some time spent scratching names onto armco. I was just determined not to spin or smack the wall exiting the Nouvelle chicane - something I was doing every second lap in practice!! Was happy to nab pole and have some fresh air after the flag dropped, but it was quickly evident that Smithy had the race pace and it would be difficult to keep him behind me - and then there was Mint. After getting close, then dropping back a bit then getting close again, Smithy finally made a critical error at Mirabeau (I think) but after a few laps of respite the Mintster was nibbling on my gearbox. I'm not sure exactly but I think Nouvelle may have claimed him and bought me 6 seconds. Thankfully that was enough and I hadn't burned my tyres up too badly so was able to relax a little over the last 2-3 laps. Happy with the win, thrown a few away lately so was keen to see the checkered flag again. Big congrat's to TB, driver of the race IMO.
Well done anon. Just to quick last night. I just couldn't get the car to work. I actually did practice this time and thought a 33.3 in practice would be good enough to keep up with everyone else. Came the race and was lucky to even do a 34. Lap 6 the car just had a huge understeer at silly low speed and that was it. Car got stuck in the wall and any chance of catching back up was done. Congrats to Anon and Mint on their championship wins. Well deserved.
Hi all, again just a quick thanks for participating in this series. Even though I was rubbish, it was still great fun and I had some great racing! There is definitely a lot more to do with the F3 car, so keep an eye out as I might just slip another event in! What a race, what a track. I was lucky to do 36's so my main goal for this race was not to spin, which I achieved. Yay for me lol. I did a 36 in practice as a one-off but mostly high 37's to somewhere in the 40's so had no real high expectations. Was surprised to see quite a few 36's early. I was paused waiting for the start and when the race started, had no instruments. This seemed to work for me, was in cockpit view so had the tachometer, and I had less distractions while the field sorted itself out. Passed a couple of spinners in the early laps, and was surprised to see vh in the wall and rejoining just ahead about mid race. I passed him but he quickly caught back up and I gave him room top of the hill before the hairpin to pass. Tried to follow but way too fast. Had Dan ahead yo-yo-ing toward then away from me which kept my hopes up for another position but he was always just out of reach. Lapped AO just near the end of the race and could see Anon down on the bottom part of the track as I was going up the first hill. Kept my head down and jet concentrated on my lines and for me was my most consistent race, and I think I finished where I deserved to finish with my skill level in this car so happy overall. Love the sound of this car through the headphones cranked up at 5000 rpm. And it does little crackles as you feather the throttle. MOOOOORRREEE!!!
Great last race of the series!! This track and car combo was definitely a challenge so just focused on trying to qualify well and be consistent in the race. Had only one lap in qually which was on the money for pole but unfortunately ran into a f3 roadblock in the last sector so wasnt to be. The race started fairly rough for myself and was lucky to hold off Vh in the early laps. The two guys upfront were flying and I just couldn't find the same pace that I had in practice, so I was content in staying in 3rd to the finish. Unfortunately Fastboy blinked first and I was able to pounce on 2nd position. Had a second effort at trying to reduce the gap to Anon but he was too consistent with quick pace so gap stabilised to the finish. Congrats to Anon, well deserved winner on the night. Well done to fastboy for holding onto 3rd and TB on a solid finish in 4th. Thanks to Leeboy for creating a great series and all the boys in room 1 for providing good old fashioned racing on a Thursday night I know this wont be the last time we will be driving this beauty so see everyone next time
Almost really happy with my run last night, traded laptimes with TB most of the race, started slowly gapping him chasing Smithy after his whoopsie, til I dropped it out of Casino Square heading down the hill, handing TB 4th. I'd been shaving tenths every lap 'til then, I'm sure I was on for a :34 even that time 'round!! Great racing, great series guys, Tsukuba was verging on epic ! Thanks to all
