Well, so far so good. I have never done any driving on GVE R so it is going to require a bit of practice. But in saying that, I have done about 7 laps today (drive out, timed lap, drive in) and have gone from a 1:15:7 down to a 1:11:3xx. More time on track and work on my brake balance & I will pull it down some more

Car holds the road well too, so I am certainly looking forward to race 1 (where I will get schooled by a number of you) :D

Sorry, changed car colour.. Arctic Silver Metallic, black wheels. Miki has the same default colour and don't want people thinking I am him on the track. Now I look like a Toyota AMG :p

Except for the wheel colour, wait and see ;)

Guys, I was wondering what peoples opinions are on starting slightly later in the evening?

Maybe qualy at 8.30pm at the latest? It would just help to get the kids sorted for school the next morning and tucked away nicely into bed and I'm not rushing about like a madman trying to get online in time! I'm sure there are others in similar situations, but I'm mainly speaking for myself here.

    Discuss?

I don't mind what time, as long as I can get into bed reasonably early, I get up at 4:30am during the week.
Definitely no late start for the enduro round.

    :)

Works for me as well, I have two rug rats and a handbrake to deal with as well, would make things easier for me too.

8:30pm AEST works better for me too, but I'm ok either way.

With regards to the start time, i've had a race length practice and found the time to do 43 laps is just about an hour. Factor in qualifying and all the usual stuffing around from peoples networks fubar-ing we wont be out of the race seat for quite a while. (I start early too).

@stu, if the average lap is a 1.10, the race will be about 50 mins. of course, i doubt the average will be that quick so might have bring down the number of laps a bit

Will do something to review the number. As my lap times are in the 1.11's the overall duration will be different to the div 1, 2 and Disturboed's times. I will try to factor in the possibility of maybe some people might 2 stop.

maybe just take off 4 laps....near enough then to 45 mins i reckon. The tires last well so there isnt a big drop off in times.
