Yes, a big thanks to the guys testing last night for filling me in on the oil change secret. Dropped my lap times by 5.5 seconds round Bathurst.

Can't tell the difference mate, if anything, the car becomes an absolute pleasure to drive on racing mediums.

Personally no, but in testing for the BZR, higher speeds could be attained on fast corners. I think it should be just a compulsory standard fitting, as I think if it does give an advantage, however small or seemingly insignificant, it is still an advantage and all should have it to be on a level playing field.

I got stuck into testing last night and found the car was an absolute delight to drive.... one of the easiest to drive in the game....

then I realised I had active spin recovery on..... doh! :S

I love this car, theres going to be sooo much action this season.

I was struggling horribly last night, then I knuckled down, was easier with the throttle, and took the damn thing out of the cockpit view (TIP: As cool as it is, it ruins the frame rate and can affect gameplay) and was getting closer to benchmark times.

OK, after a bit of testing the oil change to increase PP and HP is probably worth about 3-4 seconds. Just out of curiosity I tried the Skid Force Recovery, it's worth another 2 seconds. Anyone else done any testing like this??

Oil Change (which you should do as it boosts the BHP a little, from brand new)
    Improve Body Rigidity
Brake balance can be adjusted to suit
Tyres (relevant to the race/round) eg. Race Mediums, Race Softs, Inters

That's it. No adjustments to ride height, suspension, or anything else is allowed - which keeps the car to a level playing field.
And as for driver aids, only ABS and TCS - everything else is prohibited.

If I have missed anything I'm sure one of the mods will confirm it for you.
