Red Bull Challenges did the trickthanks fellas. Got my shiny new McLaren tonight. Can't get it to stop or turn corners, really good at spinning out onto walls though! This could be ugly
This is a car where trottle control is vital, If you put your foot down whilst cornering it'll punish you. Hope the glitch gets fixed because it's awesome in racing mediums.
I agree Serge, If the Mclaren gets up, I hope we run it with mediums. Takes a little of the psychotic edge off while leaving a little bit of animal to keep you attentive.
i have everything crossed that the update fixes the pit glitch and RA menu. The best seasons we have had have been when we used a bit of pit strategy, on a tire and wear rate that either encourages slower pace with no pit, or flat out and a pit stop. It was amazing how many close finishes we had with guys on completely different strategies..
A perfect example was Race 2 of Season 10, beannie and I were pitting, but I didn't have the pace to catch those like Joe who didn't!
Yeah some of the seasons with two tyres were a blast, so many different strats and very intriguing. And we can still have the hards then as well hopefully pd fix it soon, they've been thoroughly underwhelming so far
Reminder this poll closes on Thursday, so get your votes in, I will be having a play with the cars some time this week, prior to Thursday, and base me decision handling, and current consensus of votes.
The BMW is easier to drive than the macca, but sounds like poo. In saying that, I did the oil change on the macca, gave it an extra 30 hp and I was over sliding all over the place... Hmm
Geez, the voting is on a knife edge. I have a feeling there may be a recount, Clive Palmer will probably still win though (Qld joke, sorry)!!
I've only driven the macca on hards, I think the meds would be a nice compromise for the spread of driver speed.
You mean when they release GT7, right?? Starting to seriously doubt we'll ever see this fixed in GT6. With it being all over just about every online sim forum on the net there is no way PD don't know of its existance, so the fact there have now been multiple updates since makes me think its not being worked on....and perhaps never will be. Perhaps we just need to embrace it and just run with the fact that tyres and times after pitting will be slower and wear quicker???
