Was a 5th room actually necessary? Ignoring div 1 because not even I want to race those freaks you now have 36 drivers across 4 rooms, an average of just 9. So once you factor in absentees your looking at half filled rooms at best. With the HTO series not being a one make series large grids are even more essential IMO. 3 rooms plus gold still leaves 48 spaces for divs 2-7 so at present there's 12 spare spots not allowing for movement between gold and silver. I'm fairly sure having Gold as div 1, Silver as Div 2 and 3, Bronze as 4 and 5 and Copper as 6 and 7 would still leave at least 3 open spots in each room at present. I realise that this will mess with teams, but the teams championship should be secondary to ensuring a great race in every room.
When the series is closer to starting I am sure we will have at least 12 on each of the grids which is what I am aiming for. 45 entered ATM so excluding gold/D1 that is only 12 more from 6 divs... I think this will work fine
Only 2 drivers gone for the Rotary...... ironically one is R0T0R...... but not much love for the RX7 at all Perhaps some of the privateer's undecided as of yet could pick the RX7 to make up some numbers for the japanese squad?
What's the rule on car swapping? Allowed? Not allowed? I'm thinking of changing cars... not sure if the RX7 will have many advantages over the course of the season
TBH it is the quickest in a straight line.... but tough through the tight stuff. Will be suited to fuji and midfield
