Looks sweet Bonus. Well done, you must be stoked.

Great link... if that simulator robot malfunctions it will be death! If it 'crashes' like iRacing does when you hit a wall too hard maybe it will get a bit too realistic!

well i think i found my ring idea to build: http://lagnese.me/Hub/Photos/Pages/Simulator_2011.html

the basic concept idea is there, plus he shows many photos of certain areas to help build your own, yeah i won't go into the hardcore detail that he has put in place, but the base and frame work for monitors and steering + pedals is really nice

Hey fellas here is some pictures of my customized G27 pedals
all i did was bent a 600mm square piece of aluminium checked plate with my bare hands  that i had laying around.
drilled some hole in it and bolted the pedals in after making sure it felt good...
the struts either side of the pedals are actually timber skirting board cut and then wrapped air-con foil tape
to make them look like aluminium.. :D
(some may say that cheating but i say it ingenious I DIDN'T NEED to get the welder out :p)

they feel bloody wicked too, as i here split the pedals apart more to get my monster feet on to pedals without playing footsies with myself :p

i used the strut on the side to rest my feet on, but 99% of the time i'm to busy resting my feet on the pedals
but in saying that i even sit in my simulator to watching movies every now and then and practice my foot control..
(the Handbrake says i'm addict to my simulator and GT5, SHHHH Don't tell but i am!!!)

Very nice. Now you have proper inverted pedals, I bet that's most the reason they feel better eh. ;)

Next part of my modular rig has turned up, a 1995 Supra seat for $80, pretty happy with the condition, sporty look and comfort. Raid the Farther in-laws work shop for some wood and I got a pretty good cheap rig I can sit in all day (well i do all ready but with comfort now)
