    Good racing guys. Impressive pace & consistency Nieshy well done.

    I was stoked to break into the mid 1.35's for the first quali run and just managed to hold Nieshy at bay over the first race (+0.3s finish). Sorry mate I think I bumped you a bit around the sweeper but there was a bit of a lag spike around then.

    The second race was fooked. Felt like I was on hard tyres and going to understeer into the wall every corner. Where I was running 36's in the previous race I was struggling to maintain 39's even without mistakes in the 2nd race and only did one lap in the 38's.. Don't know what that's about but it seemed to be more than just me affected, but perhaps not all of us affected equally as Niesh reported maintaining laps in the 37's.

    I noticed more lag/lower frame rate in the 2nd race and more active mics. I think disabling voice chat for the room is the go when your hosting upwards of 10 - 12 players.

    Watching the replay the difference in grip between Niesh and me was abundantly clear and he roared passed me on a corner exit 2nd lap while I struggled to stay off the wall. Then just pulled seconds after second away from there. Well done though.

    You can actually completely disable voice chat for all users from the lounge menu at your GT LIFE home page. That way whether mics are on or not there is definitely no band width being allocated to VOIP.

    yeah bud I did that for the sunday race and it was smooth as, didn't do it this week to test it but I think the evidence is clear that it should be off.

    Yep Pies our Sundays race was good with out mikes and we had 14 running. I was definitely affected in both races last night, I had real good pace in qualifying but in races it went to sh*t. 1st race i had disabled my mike and it wasnt too bad till someone joined the room then it started sliding and was slow, but came good again near the end. 2nd race same thing was 1/10th off poll in qualifying but car was slow and slidy in the race, sorry for those i was obstructing early in the race. My connection is just ADSL2 and I seem to always have problems in large rooms with my race pace even after qualifying good, thought it was just me cracking under pressure, still could be that but I got an excuse now lol.
    Any way no more mikes in the room is the best we can do for a good race, can probably set up a new room after race is over to debrief and look at the next weeks track if enough interested, I hate typing and the text cop thinks 36laps is a sware word lol.

    Great qualifying time Koaster race 1, 135.5 wow, and good round win Nieshy.
    Good clean hard racing by all, Ill say it again great bunch of guys i'm really enjoying racing against.

    A debrief and next week's practice room is a good plan. I hate typing too.

    Yeah, I agree. Set up the lounge with mics off, no worries about lag then because of it.

    As for the text cops, try typing the word monaro.

    Good racing last night, some close stuff in both races for me, heaps fun. I watched bonus go slamming into the turn 1 fence after catching our 3-car draft down the straight... lol.

    Yer i got passed on either side then the draft draged me along, hit the breaks at the usual marker then it was stear to avoid causing carnage to those in front, took the straight into the wall aproach. I think if had have tried to turn i whouldn't have made it any way and taken a few out in the process.

    Thanks mate, I was on fire last night. As for that bump yeah you pushed me off the line, and I dont think you would've got past me without the bump, it was only a minor bump but it sent me almost all the way to fence, I knew straight away it was probably lag, did you even touch me on your screen? Anyway if I was good enough I should've made it past you again. As for the second race I was pumped up and ready to win, I had less grip too. That corner i passed you I entered that really well with good trail braking and got a full throttle run out, it looked like you went in too fast and went wide, which is understandable cos the grip wasnt there anymore. Those mid 37s i was doing felt like 35s i had to push that hard to get them, but if you could only get 39s then maybe i did have more grip, or maybe the lower grip affected my lexus less than your NSX, I guess we'll never know.

    Oh and my apologies, 1st corner 2nd race I braked like 50m too early, kinda fixed it halfway through but too late by then I caused massive compression of the field, nobody crashed so well done to everybody

    Either way Niesy, mate you drove really well. Congrats.

    Hardly touched you in my screen, panels probably slid passed but no rough contact. You were lag spiking around alot at the beginning of that lap but I thought it had settled down when I tried to pass. I'll have a look at the replay.

    Got a couple of knocks from you here and there but I figured you were in the same boat re lag, and you seemed to graciously back off a bit if it caused me to go off line so no probs there.
