I think you run race 1 normally. Then change it to reverse grid, then track.

If you can keep the guys in the room tonight after the race Emmo, test that. Once you change track it does clear everything though??

The poll closed with a reverse grid for race 2 and 3 each night and no PP limit which allows run in cars to run at full power winning the vote. The vote also favoured a mandatory pit stop.
There is now another inthread vote to decide a car for one of the Japanese rounds as the Evo and R35 have been given the flick to spare the life of some fairies!!.The Lexus LFA has been added and I think it might suit Fuji better
than Suzuka so the other car decided on will be for Suzuka. The vote for that ends this Sunday night the 23rd.
Please vote only on those cars mentioned in the posts above, we don't want this to drag on too long.

Not exactly, and the Commodore is faster at same PP.

I'll have to re test but I found only .1 difference. I think the Monaro is slighrly faster at the end of the straight but the SS is more stable in the corners because of the rear wing. The Commodore has slight understeer and the Monaro can get a bit unsettled at the rear under power.

Let me know the top 6 cars in your UCD, listed from top left across the page (first row left to right, then second row left to right etc) and I will work out how many cycles away they are due. If they are too far away then I have 15 Holdens, 6 SEATs and 7 M3s so hopefully if the others have some spares we will have enough. Apparently there is a way of duplicating as well.

If others have both Commodores and Monaros please let me know what you think of the relative performance. If it proves one car has an advantage and not everybody has that one we may need to hobble the quicker car.

I tested this last Sunday, you have to reset for reverse grid after you set the new track.

So far I find the Monaro about 3 tenths faster than the Commodore at the same PP, The Commodore at full PP is 1 tenth faster than the Monaro. The Commodore is a safer handler with a bit of understeer, the Monaro is more like an M3 with throttle controlled oversteer and can also be flicked into corner entry oversteer. I'll wait for further opinions before we decide how it should be done. The Monaro certainly sounds better and is the more fun to drive but with more risk of losing it on corner exit.

How big is the PP difference? Set the room so it's half way, the SS drivers have to wind back their power a few kw's. These are annoying rare cars, may as well leave the option to race either for those that only have one.

PS. I'm so glad no fairies will be harmed in the making of this series. So did everyone vote for the NSX? They did, yaaay!!

I am inspired by Mustafurs inter race divisions in his Queens Birthday M3 enduro so will be doing something similar in this series. There will be point scores for outright and then the field separated into two levels and a championship table maintained for each level. Gives everyone something to go for racing guys in your own level as well as maybe battling with the higher level guys for the outright honours. With eight of the races being reverse grid this is going to
be hard to win outright as well as within each level.
The mix of cars and tracks will also open up opportunities for everyone.

It is even between the Integra, ISF and NSX at the moment with one vote each. I hope others will vote on some of those (hopefully not add more choices) so I don't have to caste a deciding vote. The car will be for Suzuka so I think all three would probably be suited.

Ok I've sussed it. You are on an alternate cycle. The M3 and Seat are 36 and 38 days/cycles away from the cycle in your image. The following cars will appear at top left over the next 38 days/cycles after the image you showed. Each cycle is three rows with six cars marked as new.
There are 30 (5 days/cycles) cars for sale at one time . You should have one of the following cars at the top left in your current UCD. The car three rows down in your current UCD should be the car above the top left one in the list below etc. Note the Commodore is 102 cycles away.

if you copy your savegame onto a usb then send the car in question to someone, then paste the savegame off the usb over the one on your ps3. hey presto your mate has the car and so do you.

heres a website that will tell you what cars are coming up on the ucd as well :)

Thanks for the list emmo, I have done the practice room thing, going in and out to recycle the list in the UCD, and have my hands now on the cupra and the M3 (plus other goodies).
I 'll do a few cycles today to get closer to the commodore. Love your work! ;)
